I understand your business model, but I recently enjoyed a promotion whereby I paid 99¢ for a month. When it ended, I saw that a month of Xtra is $23.99. WTF??? Seriously, Grindr? You can’t charge like $7 per month and still make a profitable killing?

groups of messages
problem: sometimes it takes a lot of time to find some past message or we can even forget some guy that we talked and enjoyed bc we talked with a lot of other guys that day / talked a long time ago.
solution: make possible to organize messages into folders, like:
-guys on city X
-guys to look up

Pricing is not clear
The pricing on Unlimited and Extra is not clear. I used Unlimited for a number of months. I constantly see Boost ads. This leaves me feeling like the available profiles are throttled even at $40/month. That would be outrageous. This month I chose Extra instead. On my iPhone I'm met with a dozen different price levels. Many of them are repeats. None of them tell me clearly what I'm getting for $20/month. It's totally opaque. Try to listening both of the stories that should fair
Please never listen all fat ass guys only 200 or 270 pounds want to eat baby girl or boy if they said no. They will got banned right away no pics no profile information cal a person got and complete profile fake or not real it makes me laugh any times. Stop degrading the service for free (and XTRA) users
I appreciate that you need to make money to fund the app, but you also state that "ads keep the app free" whilst degrading the service constantly for free users. This is a big problem for paying subscribers, as new, free users stop using the app and the paying users just see the same faces over and over again.

What's with the monetization of super fat and super skinny people?
a friend and I who are both on grindr were talking about our experiences on the app and they were talking about how they don't get a lot of attention because they're fat, and I at first boiled it down to fatphobia/body shaming, and out of curiosity I used the weight filter and put in 300+ lbs minimum to see if my friend would come up, and the results automatically switched to XTRA/Unlimited and I couldn't see my friend's account unless I paid a monthly premium. Say someone sends soo many messages at once, or someone got this many taps or views. Reward that with unlimited

Increase free video call limit atleast upto 5 mintues
60 secs is not enough. Can you please increase the limit, if not five minutes, then please set a reasonable range, say 150 seconds. This feature is the only way to make sure, one is not getting into a bobby trap as there is a tradition of sharing fake pictures here.
Please give it a thought and consider accepting this genuine request. The xtra/unlimited feature is unaffordable for middle class Indians.

Stop making everything Unlimited level. Grindr is the most expensive dating app/site I use already. I refuse to pay $65.99 AU per month to see who tapped and looked at me.

Keep XTRA paywall out of “fresh” tab
The fresh tab was until the last update the only place you could meet some interesting people from a little further away without a paywall. Sadly this is no longer the case. To keep the app enjoyable with some variation for people who live in rural areas (not many guys like us around), I think the fresh tab should’ve stayed the way it was. Maybe this can be solved with some clever ad placement on Grindr’s part.
