   I find a lot of guys have no idea you can video chat, or video jerk together on here. Maybe make it more noticeable and available. I have guys all over the country that I video jerk with. Is there any real risk at doing this? It seams pretty discrete, just between two parties involved.

5. Have an “Are you sure” option when sharing NSFW pics with someone who has “Never” on

   There is a “Accepts NSFW” option on a profile, with “Alway” “Never” and “Not at First” as options but these are purely performative - nobody reads profiles or cares in the slightest.

   Tinder has a feature where when you use an explicit word in a chat, it will ask “are you sure, this user may find this offensive” before you hit send.

   Similarly, if a recipient has “Never” marked for NSFW pics, there should be a warning to someone sending that the person may not receive it well, or they may not get a response, etc. Or the pics should be blurred, or there should be an option to ask the user if they’d accept rhe NSFW pics.

   Basically, find a way to make the “Never” function useful so the app isn’t just drowning in dick and asshole pics.

   I have been a premium account holder with subscription for the unlimited option.

   I would like to inform you that you have put a ban on my account even though I have not done anything illegal or against the use policy and terms and conditions. I understand other profiles may have reported me over time however this was just as aggression and hate or attack conspiracy.

   You can check my chats. I have always maintained respect and honesty. I have chosen the unlimited function and have been paying for Grindr Xtra and Grindr Unlimited regularly over the years so that I can take advantage of meeting people all over the world.

   I have noticed that when using the "Explore" functionality, the person we may contact can see me as a treat or a fake profile because they are not aware that it is possible to get in touch cross border from one country to another. This usually results in allegations that I am using a fake GPS or location to get in touch with someone say in Bangladesh (because they are not aware that it is possible to see profiles located in a completely different country from where I am based i.e. UK).

   It should also be taken into consideration that users can easily block a profile if they do not feel comfortable with my profile or me contacting them. So I am quite surprised how Grindr allow someone or multiple users to report a profile as something dangerous or as accuse of acting against the policies and terms and conditions even though that is not the case. This is just a way to annoy and almost like sabotage for genuine people who are paying extra money (during this cost of living crisis) to just give a little bit extra chance to communicate and to explore the LGBT network around the globe. The LGBT community already face a lot of hate crime and discrimination and on top of that when Grindr chooses to ban someone's profile without any founded reasons that is just not fair.

   I understand that this message may just be another email request to look into this matter in depth with a sensible eye and fairness to ensure there is no injustice in this world where us LGBT people already face so much trouble, rejections, hatred, etc.

   I mean I just dont understand.... I have not violated any rules or terms and conditions... Just because a bunch of people dont like me or dont approve me having the premium upgraded unlimited account they decide to report me and Grindr simply stab on me by putting a ban without any reason at all? I have not said anything to upset anyone or used any inappropriate language to upset anyone or said anything that is against the conditions for use.

   I hope you will make a fair decision and lift the ban on my account as I have paid a lot of money and now I have also lost my subscription. Bear in mind that this is a conscious choice that I have made to spend regular monthly subscription to help my mental health. And this is what I get in return? Not only it makes me feel very sad and upset for all the reasons mentioned above but also pushes me to almost lose all my faith in the LGBT system and feeling safe and being treated fairly by platforms like Grindr.

9. Increase minimum age to 21

   I’ve run into too many immature brats on here, they’re typically 18 to 20. I recommend upping the minimum age requirement to 21 to help keep those incapable of being mature out of the app.

10. Please, do something agaist people selling drugs

    I don't know other countries, here in Chile people use Grindr only for selling drugs, most of them straight people (men and women). If you change your location to Chile you can easily see how many people are selling all kind of drugs, mostly weed. They even put that in their description with no shame or fear. Grindr is a paradise for Chilean drug dealers😡

12. Make Grindr T&C enforced on users fairly and transparently

    I would like to describe the situation that I was in and still am. I’ve dealt with impersonation, harassment, blackmail on the app and outside of it due to one person. He uses the paid grindr services. The reason why I know cuz he told me in the past and he has unlocked multiple albums and sent disappearing photos. I’ve reported him with overwhelming evidence of him calling me in derogatory terms, racist slurs due to my ethnicity on the app itself. I’ve provided screenshots of our conversation from telegram. The only answer I’ve received is “thanks for reaching out. We will look into it” and immediately getting banned for reporting a person. The idea of people with malicious intent having a get out of jail free card on a huge platform like Grindr is terrifying. The only thing you need for that is a Grindr subscription apparently.

14. Suggest review for IP block

    There should be an option to request an account have its IP address blocked, possibly by compiling a list of profiles reported this way and checking the IP/MAC address associated with them. If several accounts have the same address, it would block that IP/MAC address from creating new accounts. A lot of us have the same problem with people making new accounts after blocking them, which is a huge safety concern

17. Reject photos

    Getting unsolicited photos happens all the time. Instead of blocking a person or deleting each unwanted photo. Give me a return to sender option to let people know I don’t want to see their pic and I removed it. The current system just empowers the voyeurists.
