Not being obnoxious, but your app has gone from bad to worse and now it is unbearably the worst. My idea, improve it fast. (Please)
Loosing my location constantly, doesn't refresh properly and when it does it takes relatively very long. I won't mention the ads but they are a necessary evil I suppose.

To fix the scammers and fake profiles.
I would recommend an in app feature that allows to verify your self with a way thru Gmail or Facebook. Just my honest thoughts on it. It is definitely a pain. Also when the scammers are on here. It's always the same scam. same story. If the scams and fake profiles would just be straight up about what they want or are looking for that be great. No taps
Do away with the Tap feature, I have seen countless profiles mention “no taps” “Tap=block” I think that if so many people hate this feature then do away with it. (2) change the notification sound it’s irritating too loud. I turn it off in settings but if you get a message you still have that high irritating sound that can be heard 2 doors down.

Random messages from far away people
Please stop making cities so easily accessible through Explore. I’m getting dozens, maybe hundreds of messsages from people on the other side of the world daily. It’s crowding my inbox and making the messages I actuall care about harder to find. It’s also just really annoying. Their messages do not benefit me in any way. I will never meet them. Please fix this. The Grindr UI has just been getting progressively worse compared to Scruff or Jackd. It’s like you guys don’t do any UX testing with real users.

The hide feature requires to many steps
Why does it take so many steps to hide someone’s profile. This should be a click and it’s don’t. At minimum it’s three clicks. It should be click done, the button isn’t located in a place that if you didn’t mean to do it. If you hit it you meant to do it!

Since the new update, the UI is constantly showing me the most recent view in a pop up window and a constant reminder of how many recent views I have. If I click on my views, it should be an indicator that I'm aware I was viewed and stop bugging me every 5 seconds with a pop up that I was viewed. Block should be by Account's emails avoid new user under same account's email.
The block and Hidden should be by Account' email because the Malicious user, Under 18, People crazy, User Fake and others usually recreate his account and find us again.
There are Grindr's unsafe and being following by stalkers and others.
We'd like only block or hide definitivily an user.
