The ability to mark someone as hooked up. Like favorite but for guys you have hooked up with.
This way if your looking you can filter by hookups and find someone easier.

Safety and Xtra Ultimated Profile
I always want safety while I meet someone by using the Grindr application. Now, i really want to upgrade to XTRA and Unlimited User account and Profile that they stay far away from me.Please make my i wish i want to come true 100%. Because i want to see and chat with someone profiles that they promised to me many things but they didn't do as they promised to me yet until now.Valid now.

Mandatory pic verification and id verification prior to being able to sign up for the app I have been being harassed by someone on the app
This is needed because I know that I’m not the only one being harassed by these young people and a lot of times people on the app they don’t have face pics which makes it scary for me to watch a link up with him. I know that this is a free service to us, but I believe that everyone should be safe no matter what it is. Not getting enough masuline only profiles without the fem populatation
I feel it would be a simple fix on the app. Men who are only interested in men and men who are only interested in fem ta cd.
It would go a long way to representing the new community inclusions while men who like men can have their field view of men.

Search tool for bios or profile descriptions
There should be a tool that allows you to search for key words (or anything you type) and then filter in only profiles that have whatever you typed in, in their bio.
For example, I usually am hunting for profiles that have stuff similar to "Down for anything," or "Open to Whatever." But it's hard to find those people, especially with all the extra profiles, or when they think it's a great idea to add absolutely nothing else to their profile stats. Add a distance filter where users can select a range, like 1 km or 5 km, and only see people within that selected radius. Anyone outside the

why is right now behind a paywall now??!!
most profiles in right now are suddenly locked only for xtra/unlimited users… how does grindr determine which profiles are locked? are they fakes designed to goad us cheapies into paying?
it’s frustrating to be introduced to a new feature only to have it blocked with no warning, all while features we have used for years (block, favourites tab, filters) are being paywalled in the background.

Instagram verification feature gone?
The Instagram verified handles and photos that were introduced earlier in 2024 is gone, and there is no updated information regarding this? Have you pulled back the feature?
This was a much needed feature to prevent catfishing which is way too prevalent on this app.
