Fake people after giving your address
Not sure how to Discribe this safety issue. After chatting with someone I felt comfortable with meeting and gave my address..the guy was fake. And stopped answering so I blocked to erase my address then unblocked to see movement, turns out a couple days later I'm in my yard and a mustang drives by with a couple guys in it and yell out some some stuff. This has to be connected ..so what can be done about something like this or know when to give out a meeting place , because we chatted for a bit and don't give information…

In-app camera and photo library for reducing fake profiles
Stop allowing access to the device's photo library. Provide a good in-app camera for taking selfies and an in-app photo library. Like this one cannot send anymore photos they have grabbed from someone else's profile and saved on their device. We would only be allowed to send photos taken through the app.

Grindr needs to have some type of Legacy contact info to help disable content of a deceased member. Seeing someone’s profile after they pass
Seeing someone's profile after they passed away can be quite shocking and disconcerting, There should be an easier way to alert Grindr of someone's passing, so that profile can be disabled quietly and respectfully. Neither a person's content, or their family should ever be affected by the Grindr profile. It's not a point of pride it's just a point of respect. Granted, I could see how someone might try and use this in a malicious way, but with proper proof someone should be able to submit information that Grindr can easily follow up and find out if it’s true and…

Accept/Decline Photo Messages
Have a "Don't allow photos to be sent" feature that prevents others from messaging photos without permission. That is, no one can send you any photo without the receiver first wanting to see photos from the sender. This would dramatically cut back on unsolicited nudes and I think would benefit the community greater. I personally really hate seeing nudes if I don't want to.

Having to weed out the scammers/impersonators. Have Verified Identity tags on profiles and video chat capability.
As a PAYING member of this type of social app, it's my strongly held belief that it is that corporation's DUTY to ensure that the person I'm having a typed convo with, is VERIFIABLY the same person portrayed in the profile. You can do that proactively by providing an avenue for verifying identity like many other sites do, using 3rd party ID verification providers. Secondly, this and other sites aggressively warn users not to leave the app or site to talk because "that's a warning sign of scammers." Permanent block
Grindr retains the telephone number and MAC address of accounts so users should be able request to block via these details associated with accounts to prevent people from endlessly creating new accounts to harras and stalk

Warning Message for harassment
I received warning ⚠️ related like I did harassment.. but one thing before I getting warning report kindly check it the screenshot and review it same. Because some time without guilty I’m getting warning. Ex. If I rejected person he will report. So kindly review the screenshot before sharing the notification of warning. Change ur guild lines

Secure profile photo
dear friend It has been fun to use the Grindr app, but there is a fear that if we use our photo in the profile, it may happen that someone takes a screenshot and misuses it. So you are requested to create such a security feature that no one can take screenshot of profile photo without our consent and everyone can use it for free.

Choose who gets to see where you are without having to block them or go incognito like Snapchat have a option like that

Mender safety from scam
It’s should be scam alert profile or some kind of page with all scam pictures who been fought in that city should have scam alert with scam pictures
And trusted members should be able to remove until actual app members will investigate

Cyberflashing/Harassment
Cyberflashing is a serious problem of privacy violation and sexual harassment. Too many people sending nude photos without consent on this app. The category "Accept NSFW Pics" is useless.
I think the definitive solution for this problem is that you can't receive photos if your category "Accept NSFW Pics" is "Never".
And you can't send photos to someone who set this option to "Never".This is a critical function the community needs.

I was robbed on new years by a member on Grindr. When i used his face with a caption on thief you guys blocked me and took me off the site
There is no way the cops r my self could find the guy after he blocked me. Not fair. I want justice and ur Grindr app allowed him to fall into the shadows to do it again.

Blocking
One touch blocking. Just how users can currently Force Touch to favourite, chat, or report directly from the grid. Enabling one touch blocking would be helpful and efficient, and avoid sending a “who viewed you” notification to the profile which could allow people to see that you’ve blocked them in real-time

We should have a filter for HIV positive
If we want to search for hiv positive profile only we should be able to filter them from rest of the profile instead of going through every profile

Integrate ID.me in the ‘signing in’ and or ‘sign up’ processes to genuinely verify the user before they can partake and to avoid impersonations on this app!

True Incognito
Incognito mode should be true across the platform. People should not be able to see that I have opened the app. It’s annoying when “stalkers” can see you as a green dot in your messages. That’s why I pay for incognito mode!

Increase security for email changes
All they had to do to steal my account was get my password. Once after that they were able to change the email account. I think they should at least send an email to confirm the changes. It’s ridiculous how easy it is for hackers to succeed here.

STI notifications
You should be able to mark profiles that you've met with (even if either party has blocked), and then if you test positive for an STI Grindr can push out a notification to get tested to all of those user profiles - possibly via SMS/email in case the user is inactive
