Gender mandatory
I would like that Gender is a mandatory selection when creating a profile. And that it is able to filter on this.
Grindr is getting more and more woman, that is not why i use Grindr, so let me remove them from my grid.

Filter per safety practice
More and more users only practice BB, while others (like me) prefer using condoms.

More Tags beside Hung (penis size)
People always messaging “hung?” Hung, although it is the most common preference, isn’t the only preference. Not only that, it would avoid one of the most popular asked questions on the app: “hung?” On Grindr, where rejection can be so high depending on penis size, let’s set users up for success by allowing them to have it on their profile and attract people who are into whatever size they got. The tags added should be called “average” “small” and “micro.”

Mandatory sex field and filter
I am a homosexual male and am only interested in finding members of the same sex, what this app was originally intended for. There are far too many women on the platform claiming to be "boys", "men", etc. This is really disconcerting and the current "gender" filter doesn't help much because it is not mandatory and buggy, I can't even set my "gender" and there are so many options it is just nonsensical and ridiculous. I've restricted it to "men" and "not specified" and, of course, I am still seeing many women trying to entice homosexual men into heterosexual sex.

I would love to see language tags!
That way I could search "English," "ASL," or "German" and if they have the language tag I could find them. This could help people who want to find others who speak their language or help people who want to learn a language by meeting new people!

Bring back ethnicity filter.
You removed this when the news was full of race issues.
It’s a legitimate filter to help people find what they are looking for, not everyone prefers all types, so why clog is a grid with people who do not match?
I don’t get it. Get off the fence and serve the customers. I can go on any dating app and filter by ethnicity. It’s normal.

Get rid of all the fake trans profiles to make this app usable.
Hard to find anyone when 5/11 profiles are obviously fake and not removed after they have been reported. I would volunteer to work for free to remove them. When the same girl’s pic is used on 10+ profiles within a matter of days, you have a problem.

And there so many fake profiles, everyone should have to be verified and have a picture, if you don't wanna be seen then don't sign up

Issue: Explore cities are not localised enough
The larger explore features seem to show cities you might visit once in a lifetime. I'm in the UK, it would make much more sense to see UK cities rather than cities in the US or Australia. Besides having a look at people's photos, I'd just be wasting their time tapping or messaging. At least if the cities were relevant to my country I might be more inclined to visit.
