Filter people by their interests
Additional tags for what you like and/or don't like. That way you could filter out all the people who aren't interested in your body type instead of having the same conversation over and over.

The new filtering system is a nightmare
Please simplify the filtering system at the top of the app. It's almost impossible to figure out how it works without trying multiple options. It was much better before!

Indianer / update on the term to Native American
Hello dear Grindr team, I am in the process of updating my profile entries. In the process, at least in the German version of the app, I came across what I consider to be the outdated expression "Indianer" in the "Ethnicity" section, which should rather be replaced by the more correct term "Native American". To be honest, I was very surprised by this, as I have the impression that the Grindr app is very contemporary and also mindful and actually deals precisely with such subtleties. A little hint on the side. All the best!

Add an option to: "Looking for" where it says "Later today" or "tonight"
As the title says, add options for people who don't necessarily want the literal meaning Right now.

More profile to talk to
Should be aloud to message and talk to more profile in my town only getting to talk to profile 2miles away is stupid as hell like make it to where if there in the same town then you can chat with them no cut it of a 2miles away that stupid if this don't change I'm deleting Grindr for good cause it's bullshit

Two set of tags
Two sets of tags so people can have the tags they are looking for and the tags that describe them that way when you look up a tag you find those kind of people not people looking for those kind of people like for example if I look up the tag ftm I should find people who are ftm not guys looking for ftm if that makes sense

Restore fresh faces
Please remove the limit on fresh faces. It was a really good way to meet with people that were far from you. Putting a limit on this on top of all the other restrictions; when it was free at first, is kinda shitty.
There was an update where fresh faces was an unlimited grid. That really helped get connections that were interesting and although distant it was fun.
Fresh faces also really help users who don’t have many profiles near them or users who dont find their “type” near them.Now the fresh faces grid is limited to just 6…

Make position filter free
As a bottom it really annoys me that my grid is full of other bottoms very rare to find a top in my area. I think it's ridiculous that I would have to pay to be able to find my counter part on a sex app. Like that'd be like tinder or meet me saying oh straight man your looking for women here's a grid full of men you wanna talk to women PAY! it's the same thing what does grindr expect us to do touch butts. Shove off. Let me search my area for my opposite position

The original app theme, settings & features were better.
The original app look offered more features & was easier to navigate through. I have the beta version & the updated platform is a tad bit odd compared to the original.

Filters
When filtering by age or weight, the results seem to exclude those who have not included said stat in their profile. Perhaps an option to include those who have not disclosed that bit of information could be advantageous.

Country Choose
I live close to the boarder, and more than half my options live in a different country. What's the point, and why would I EVER spend money on the overpriced subscription when I can't meet half these guys anyway? Make it more firndlynas many people outside the US, live in boarder areas.
