Language
A language filter needs to be added along with a Country preference filter. I live in a border town in the USA and I can’t filter out people living across the border in Mexico. It is annoying bexause 75% of the people that show up are in Mexico or do not speak English. It is one of the main reasons I no longer pay for a premium Grindr account!! Why pay for a service that does not meet my needs??

Filtering out non matches
These days of inclusion cater to pretty much everyone. But have you noticed it's really hard to find your type now? For one, there's lots of trans and guys who only want trans or CD - which is great that they're included, but they aren't most of our type/the other way around.
I propose a way of uniting these trans seekers/ trans people with their type by putting them in their own section, away from the main grid. This will benefit everyone else too, cause these people will be off the main grid, making the experience better for everyone. Trans…7 votes -

"Grouping" group/couples rework
Improve group and couples functions. My partner and I have been ”grouping" since we left highschool. It is it's own legit lifestyle. Make it easy for couples and groups to connect. It would be more inclusive, and grow the community. Grouping allows, for example, a strait person who is partners with a bisexual person to mingle and experiment if they like. It would grow exceptance and understanding of the lgbtq+ community while allowing those may be curious, unsure, or even considered strait to be involved and to help them understand themselves better. More tribes and tags for femmes
As a crossdresser I feel that I'm not able to accurately represent myself with the current tags and tribe options. The G section of the LGBTQ community have several subsections of the spectrum to choose to represent themselves whereas the only option for the broad community of non cis males justbhas the trans tribe. Just because some of us like to present as femme sometimes doesn't mean we're transgendered. We don't even get a tag option for Crossdresser, just femme and lingerie. Side position description
I would love a feature where just like under “identity”, you can click next to “position” to lookup the definition. Side is a relatively new term and an information icon that would bring up a similar window would take a lot of the guess work out of conversations and would save a lot of “about me” space.

Make a second app.
First of all I want to thank you for locking Grindr down to a point where I don't spend as much time on it. I'm not sure why I would pay to have people be rude to me. That being said these people that are looking for transgender only no guys yet they're still guys need their own app. You guys need to make a transgender app for these so called straight dudes can go and not be in here causing confusion and conflict.

Femme tribe
Unfortunately the femme tribe option doesn't exist. We only have "Twink" or Trans but they dont really fit. There alot of fem guys but its hard to find them without this.

Pre-filtered matches
A person should be able to set their preferences, and we should have a view of all potential matches. In other words if I’m not their type…age…race etc…filter them out of my custom view. I’m tired of messaging people where they look at your profile and don’t respond.

Filter Out NSFW Profile Pics
I mostly used Grindr to make new friends, and occasionally to go on dates. I don’t really use it for hook-ups, and I wish there was a way for me to scroll through the app without having to see so many NSFW profile photos (i.e. ass photos, crotch shots, underwear pics etc.). It makes it really hard to open the app at all in a public setting. One solution would be to make the ‘Face Photo Only’ filter free to all, or perhaps a new free filter could be developed that would detect and hide pictures with nudity.

"Neutro" Role
Hi, I'm Chilean and I think that the app should include a slightly normalized role, in my country it's known as "Neutro", and it identifies those men who have sex with other men, but don't like anal penetration.
It is good that the app includes it to be able to recognize us better, if you do not feel comfortable practicing anal sex or if you prefer other sexual practices that do not include anal penetration, you can consider the "Neutral" role.

There is a Leather category. However there is nothing for good old bondage. Some people want to get tied up and gagged. Those people exist on Grindr but tough to filter to find.

Country filter
A simple solution would be on signup it will use your current location as your home Country and/or have you choose your Country of residence. From there you add a filter option that reads something like 'only show people in the same Country". For those living in border cities who can deal with cross-border travel and would like to have the option, just leave the filter unchecked. For the rest of us in border cities who do not want to see people in their neighboring country, the filter can then be used and only show people in the user's home…
