Make Grindr gay again
Here on grindr there is many women and straight men only seeking women. I'm sorry but this app should be for gay men. Or at least men interested in hooking up with men. I have been banned twice for "discrimination against the lgbt community " and all I did was say no to trans and women. We need our space separately from trans and women. We are not the same. I do find it insulting that we are being pushed out of our space.
Grindr should be a man only app. Women on here makes as much sense as us…

Bumble style grindr function.
To not drown in a sea of dicks and blank profiles that say "hi" . I would like a bumble style option so we can filter out people that we did not tap.

Position mandatory
Position should be mandatory. I could believe that it´s one of the most used filters. Frequently the contacted person is even rude when you ask whether he´s bttm.or top or whatever position....

Add more options to the body type
Adding more options for the bigger people in the app would increase the accuracy of what they are trying to convey but also how they identify. There needs to be more than STOCKY or LARGE. Let’s try and add some more like: husky, chubby, thick, belly, dad bod.

Updating our Vaccine options and adding the HPV
hey dear Grindr team, I'm currently updating my profile entries. I also got vaccinated against human papillomaviruses (HPV), a really nasty virus! and would like to add that to my profile. simply for the visibility of the virus, which is relatively unknown among men. and that, at best, this also leads to conversations. Thanks!

All the girls. This is a gay app. Why are so many girls on Grindr? Can there not be a separate app or even a broad filter? pun intended.
Have a filter available to everyone which can actively keep girls from showing up near me. I don’t pay for unlimited or xtra and half of my available slots of filled up with girls or boys dressed like girls. This is a gay service. I don’t want to see all these girls on there. Most of them are scary looking and it’s very off putting. Either make a different site/app for t-girls and boys interested in them, provide some kind of filter to screen them from view, or something because I am so over it.

Features are being restricted too much
The explore option use to reset every day and now it no longer does, I filter for a reason but when I do it decreases my options and sometimes doesn’t even give me any which is dumb by design, and my app continues to glitch out like crazy. Grindr used to be an app that allowed guys in small and big cities to filter their options but now when you try you’re filtering too much and Grindr is forcing you into a membership if you want to maybe find someone to hang with in a different city entirely. Grindr should be for men seeking men. & cellphone verification should be required with a text code
Grindr should make a separate app for mf couples, trans, and all other individuals seeking something other than male for male interaction. Also, due to the high number of fake profiles I think creating a Grindr account should require text authentication, preferably with a system that can detect when 3rd party text apps are being used. This would protect peoples privacy and increase safety for everyone.

Undo the 'gender filter' changes made on 26 April 2023.
On 26 April 2023 you removed the 'Trans Tribe' filter and replaced it with the 'Gender filter.'
I'm an Xtra subscriber and you haven't 'replaced' anything. The 'Trans Tribe' filter is gone and there is no 'gender filter' showing anywhere in my app, so you haven't replaced one with the other, you've removed it and anything resembling it within Grindr Xtra.
I can only assume, therefore, that you've locked it behind the Grindr Unlimited tier and expect us to pay £25.99 per month or £311.88 annually to unlock that core feature - something I refuse to do because it's frankly…

Can we please move away from the “mixed” terminology? Multiracial has long been the accepted language. Offer separate offerings perhaps.
Let’s look for new language around “mixed”. Multiracial or multiethnic are far better words to use. Let’s be better, Grindr.
