All the fake / scam profiles
Take all of your algorithms and AI and instead of stalking and targeting those of us trying to use the app as intended....how about you actively focus on eliminating the BS, the FO requests, the solicitations and links to other sites...instead of just saying you are trying. YOU ARE NOT MAKING ANY EFFORT....it is worse than ever! And while you are at it...YES, advertising may be necessary...but the sneaky ads that are impossible to close are engineered that way....there is no accident here. Easier to report bots
Please make it easier to report bots, rather than multiple click-through pages to hide a bot from my grid. And better yet, actually investigate reported bots and take down profiles that use the same profile picture.

Only fully completed profiles should be allow to chat with other completed profiles
Only allow completed users profiles (basic demographic data and a real picture, we can identify fakes with AI in no time so there's no excuse for profiles pictures getting approved with landscapes) profiles that are not completed can not communicate with profiles that have the data on their profile. Its very annoying to being increpated with a blank profile asking several questions about myself when I don't even know what kind of potential creep is looking at my profile.

Get rid of all the fake trans profiles to make this app usable.
Hard to find anyone when 5/11 profiles are obviously fake and not removed after they have been reported. I would volunteer to work for free to remove them. When the same girl’s pic is used on 10+ profiles within a matter of days, you have a problem.

This is totally unfair to us and it only seems to be getting worse over time, so get it together or I can’t justify continuing to use this app.

Spam auto-blocking
It’s really not that hard to detect a conversation where the first message is a web link and suspend the related account, is it?!
It would be great if the Grindr product managers pulled their heads out of their asses and did the bare minimum to stop spammers before they annoy everyone. Users aren't (only) cash cows, respect their time and experience.

Bot Elimination.
My Idea is to use multiple measures to make creating bots on this platform hard and expensive. I would hate to see that this company is allowing bot users to create bots to inflate user numbers. We should be aware of this kind of stuff as a community. Here are some things you guys could start working on for the better of the user community. can prevent bots from creating fake accounts by layering multiple defenses that make registration easy for real users but expensive or difficult for automated scripts. Bring back AT LEAST one free explore chat
Being back free explore with 1 free profile unlock! This app is already buggy and hard to find people to connect with, we should be able to at least be able to view profiles in explore. The free version of this app isn’t even worth the effort anymore.

What was wrong with the old version? At least it's saved your preferences. This is a joke having to keep going in and saving your preferences and for the cost of this now is definitely not worth it. As I said this is now the Myspace of the gay social network

Profile verification
Lots of profiles who send you site links with unsure safety and probability of being scam or virus.
Fake profiles of "sugar daddies" that would like to spoil you and ask you for your telegram (Which is connected with your phone number, scary)Not sure if the person you are talking to is real, actually lgbt, actually the age they added
Being sure with who you are talking to just with a video verification that lots of other dating apps uses is mandatory
Taking a picture on the Grindr app isn't a solution, since people would like to have creativity…

I pay for a subscription for no ads and I still get ads all the time. Stop it.
Work on the app. People sending me messages 18 times over and over again. They’re not doing it. It’s you and your app.

Better security
The amount of Bots, spam and scams is getting out of hand. Now when chatting with someone, lmy usual question is, "are you a real person? " With the amount of money I'm paying every month, I should be expecting to talk with actual people, at the VERY least. Get a fix for this ASAP‼️

Too many ads that are too difficult to exit
Too many ads that are too difficult to exit. I usually pay for Grindr Xtra and am still bombarded with so many ads! Using Grindr less and Sniffies more.

Grindr constantly Trying to upsell memberships when currently I am constantly spammed and without user verification this app does
I’m paying for basically nothing. I still get ads spam constantly without having user verification. It has turned into a cesspool of catfishing , spamming & other users allowed to undermine the apps credibility because there’s no validation of who they are. Maybe you should start verifying people and would actually become a useful app again.
