switching profile verbiage from “undetectable” to simply “untransmittable”
Ad resources are being spent, by grindr itself even, to educate the consumer base about what “undetectable” means, and I find that great. To me though, these resources do seem kinda nonperformative—like you’re telling us, but not exactly embracing it yourself. One thing that could be meaningful to the HIV+ Community you serve is to embrace that language you’re standing behind and change the status options to include “untransmittable” as the status instead of “undetectable.” To protect your company, you could have an extra screen pop up to ask them to verify that their status is in fact undetectable, but…

multi device synce

Customer Service Team
I wish that there is a dedicated customer service team who can answer questions about grindr accounts. For example, can my account go online even if I didn’t log in at all? My friend’s account went online despite not having the app on his phone, he didnt logged in to grindr account at all as per his side. Or is you geotag and digital footprint accurate enough that it will only go online if the user logged into it, period. No glitches no bugs.

Disappearing location
It would be great to be able to set an experation on my location that I send. I know that won't stop people from screenshotting or copying it down but it would be nice to not have it sitting in a chat forever

Us down low and discreet guys need to have more respect for not showing our face pic on our profile if we dont want to put a face pic on are profile that's our choice and there's a good reason for it we don't want our face out there

Bareback
Please change the BB tag to fully spell out the word bareback. It seems that some people don't understand what BB means. And to their credit, it could also mean big butt. Whether it's approved or not, some of us have sex without condoms. And we should not be contacted by those insisting on condoms. Maybe if it's clearer, there will be less of that happening.

export chat
i know that most people in here don't chat long, but i like chatting and often have very deep conversations with people and share stories that i would like to keep. i spend a lot of time then copying each message and pasting it into a Google doc... it would be much easier if there was a function for selecting and copying or sharing all texts, like in telegram, or exporting the chat like in whatsapp. thanks!

Bring back being able to view flame taps when you are not a member.
I can see you have removed the ability to view people who have tapped you unless you are a subscribed member. I understand you need to make money but you have adverts disrupting the app constantly so it is a really unfair move to remove this from non-paying members

Streaming features
Add more features here like live streaming. I'm a streamer and i got tips from my viewers it will be more fun. Pls check out live streaming like kik or plenty of fish or meetme apps. Thi will be a good start for Grindr

Give users the ability to hide profiles they don't want to see
There are a lot of profiles that do not violate community rules but that I still find unpleasant to look at on my feed, particularly ones that use crude language/emojis and overly suggestive poses. Right now I block many of them, but that requires more steps and feels like overkill. I would like an option similar to the "mute" function on Twitter which allows you to hide users from sight without blocking them.
