Improve photo quality
Grindr downgrades photos so shoddily that they look pixelated. This severely impacts user experience. Choose a better compression algorithm!

Premium user messaging receiving options
Premium users should have ability to opt out form receiving messages from blank profiles as this may encourage them to post a pic of themselves prior to messaging us.

Frequently Used Photos
Create algorithm to push frequently used photos to to the top of your photo grid. I use the same photos a lot but they are toward the bottom of the grid which requires a lot of scrolling. Thanks!

Saving our own photos
You should be able to save your photos. First of all, you lose them when you delete the app which sucks, but a significant amount of my photos I took in the moment on the Grindr camera and they turned out really fucking good. I want to be able to use them elsewhere. Plus the fact that they basically are gone forever since they’re only on Grindr if I delete the app also makes it worse. Screenshoting them all individually sûcks and it’s not as good when you crop out the boarders and stuff.

Lower the price of Unlimited
40 bucks a month, double that of Xtra for only a few more features is a straight up money grab.
You should lower Xtra to $10 a month and Unlimited to 20. You’d have way more subscriptions.

Connect peoples emails with their cell number at sign up
The amount of accounts that keep spamming me lewd pictures every day is incomprehensible and repulsive. Many accounts go on creating new accounts after i blocked them and reported them, ending up sending me the same nudes
Connect people's email addresses with their cell numbers like Taimi so frequent violators can be removed from the community permanently. Make Grindr safer!5 votes -
The cost of Grindr
I think you should do a reduction in your prices as they are absolutely outrageous!! I've always been happy with the basic one as I dont need to know if someones read my message or not, But, if your prices were lower more people would consider it. Why not try and and be the same prices as fellow apps, or just slightly at a higher rate.

Guys. Please. Enough. Remove the gipgy icons. This is a bit juvenile. And now with your os upgrade. It's right there. No one wants to see a giph on here. They want to hook up or meet.

Chat head pop ups
Be cool if there was chat head pop ups. Kinda like messanger. It would make it easier to keep up with messages and reduce the amount I miss

Grindr Stories
Hey Grindr, how about creating stories for the app as well as stories (Instagram), Fleets (Twitter).
In this idea, he works like the others, being able to publish photos/videos for 24 hours.
Only people from their own city could see these stories, and if someone from another place wants to access them, they would have to subscribe to Grindr XTRA.
In this Grindr Stories, it would also be possible to comment, people's photos/videos or react with the reactions already created by the app itself.
Other XTRA features for this idea would be that only people who subscribe to the app…14 votes -
hide instead of block
I want to ‘hide’ profiles. Not every profile is a binary decision of block entirely. A lot of times, the same profiles are nearest to me and they take up real estate in my grid. They might be friend material, or I might be interested at some point but not now. So if I could hide profiles and then toggle hidden profiles on and off with a filter that would be ideal.

Being able to send videos through chat
It would be nice to be able to send videos through chat. Most of the videos that many people would like to share are probably traveling, cooking, hiking, nature, vacation, pet, sports videos. The list goes on, it doesn’t have to be inappropriate videos that we share.

Can’t silence the sounds with IOS
Please create a setting to turn off the sounds (tap & messages) for IOS. The app cannot be used discreetly!
Someone from your team sent me instructions but they do not work.
