4. Undeleting conversations by accident.

5. The lack of access to more profiles. U can aat least do 5 o 6 free a day to keep people engaged and coming back. Cuz its been half anweek s.

   I been on other sites and you would at least get a few free a day maybe get lucky. But those;6 are way kept me coming back. U guys really offer nothing to draw a user in. The quality of men in the free part is a joke. Nothing but tire kickers. Fakers or just getting toes wet. I've set up dates. Only to get cancelled last minute. I'm giving this sitebtill Saturday to produce my fuck buddy. If not here I go elsewhere.

   I’m picturing a discord or slack like feature where private and open chat groups can be created to bring the community together. The idea is that we can create groups that people can join, if they’d like, and discuss certain topics or find a niche that resonates with them so they can meet like-minded people. Right now Grindr has a stigma of only being a hook up app and not a lot of people feel safe interacting with strangers one on one. Group chats/channels can be a good way for people to express themselves and then link up based on similar interests.

8. DISABLED THE BANNER ACROSS TOP ITS INTERFERING

   The outline notifications on people profiles dont need to be lit up and have to refresh people's profile to clear that mess and the banner across top is annoying and blocks the first messages and always have to slide it away once is enough

9. "viewed me" section

   Either move viewed me back to where it was, or just get rid of it... Firstly, the recently viewed me section is so irrelevant, it just tells you who has look at your profile and doesn't want to talk to you. Tell me how that information can be used in any useful way? And now you've made it so you have to go through that pointless section to go to your taps.. Waste of time, you're just trying to push things in our faces that we need the paid version to see. It's cringe. The section is trash to begin with as we view profiles SO MUCH, telling them that you looked at their profile is just a waste of time, and honestly the biggest joke is that you're wasting time and effort into updating it and moving it around, when it's useless anyway.. Perhaps only people who don't get many messages and so they spend their time trying to message people they hope are interested in them, but they're not.. All in all, it was a waste of time before but now you've just put It in the way of a useful section (taps). You are so money hungry, y'all do it on purpose to try make people buy the paid version even though it amounts to nothing for anyone . You're just making your app more and more annoying to use... I've downloaded scruff because of it and my god it's so much better. Yes you have to pay to get full access, but they at least give you a decent free version to begin with. This really is the last straw because why the hell have you made it so we have to look at a bunch of blurry squares before ours seeing taps. It's just trash app design at this point, so is it greed or bad taste and inexperience that made you make this change?

10. IO order

    Please change the order of the IO at the bottom of the screen opening the app is now extremely frustrating. After this update. The grid should be first then chats then favorite chats taps should be last nobody likes taps. Why was that giving precedent over the grid and everything else it’s backwards or for those of us that pay for a unlimited, give us the option to rearrange the IO how we see fit.

12. The home screen never refreshes.

    My idea is to bring back an older version of Grindr now long gone. At one time, you could click the online button to see users that were online or unclick that and see everyone closest to you or those that were closest to you when they logged off. This selection of profiles would change depending on my location as it would always load the closest guys to me first and then get further away. I really used to like that. Now, I have the same screen when I filter for online, all profiles so no filter, change location like different city, uninstallation and reinstallation of the app changes nothing. At some point this set list of profiles became the wallpaper most of us have today which is why we have to use sniffies for location apps. You offer users the ability to see who has viewed our profile and our notification goes off saying someone looked but when you check, nobody has looked yet. I know this is how a block shows itself but I doubt 7 guys in a row view profile then block me when I didn’t even know they existed. Trying to refresh this feature just makes it like the notification was either an AI hallucination or a message from the past just now delivered. Boost is now your way to earn more money and is placed in the midst of options that are preference and feature buttons not linked to any fees like incognito or Edit Profile, You placed that button with a fee right there so your company can steal money with false clicking on a horribly located function button. I’ve had to figure out how to not approve that so many times because that used to be how the app worked. Being online was boosted, offline was not updated or no boost with anything but offline until they came back online. That is if the app can go online where all other apps are…nope, Grindr cannot connect to the network…retrying does not get you online. Only uninstalling then reinstalling fixes that which can lose all your photos upon doing so or private albums just disappear. You lose all message history cuz no backup will get everything. When online, the feed was live. Now you have a stagnant wallpaper that will only change if you boost me…a premium paying member on your highest tier of service for years of this madness always in hope you’d fix with update. I’m thinking of saving my money until your app is fixed or a competitor rips you off but with a working feature set. You don’t need programmers to fix this…Chat GBT can code it and it will work. All you software companies got too relaxed taking our over inflated subscription money while breaking the apps we wanted to buy and own cuz they had value and were good, innovative or if not that, they worked. Users are tired of this neglect and outright refusal of inflated subscription models to services that offer no incentive including the worthless unsend a message feature. You know why its worthless? That is a feature where a box is added in place of my unsent message telling the recipient I unsent it. An unsend should not leave a banner, it should unsend the message leaving nothing behind. Oh and sending locations should use real maps so people could use them to navigate with full interaction, not a pdf picture of a map with no interaction possible. The user sent me that so they wanted me to have it…this does not violate user privacy. You make it so hard to do remedial things. Its obvious you do not care and its going to be obvious that its too late to fix it. You’ve seen it already, fewer subscription renewals, fewer signups and the customers are spending less and less time inside the app because we are fed up and are ready to ditch the glitch.

16. Return our chats from more than a year ago

    We lost without notice our messages that were more than one year old. I understand that you had a problem, and didn't lose them on purpose, but the exact figure of ONE YEAR seems arbitrary. Couldn't you find 18 months of them? 24 months. I'd really like my old ones back. Now for safety not losing people, I'm taking chats off grindr more and more.

18. Make profile settings more accessible

    Current Issue:
    Access to profile settings is only available at the top of the main “Grinder Icon” tab. This impacts the usability of the incognito feature. For example, when I want to browse profiles incognito but have scrolled far 2 towns over, it becomes inconvenient to enable incognito and return to the same profile.

    Suggestion:
    Profile settings should be accessible as a static option, similar to the filters that remain at the top. This would also provide a visual reminder, especially if users have unintentionally left incognito mode on.
