Why cant i
Why can't I get to see my messages I push the button and it disappears.or I chat with someone and then if I leave I can't find them and I can't browse it doesn't show any one

Eliminate the darkening at the bottom of the screen when viewing full screen photos.
When viewing photos full screen, the bottom quarter of the screen darkens. It's annoying and serves no purpose.

Refuse to receive mssgs from faceless profiles
Enough is enough. The constant messaging of faceless profiles should end if someone refuses to accept them. Writing on your profile NFNC does not help. This is a constant harrassment by anonymous profiles and Grindr should respect the privacy of users.

Modify the blocking and reporting feature
Many times I get abusive messages from someone who instantly blocks me without any ability to report them or to block them.
I cannot report abuse if they already blocked me. I also cannot mutually block them. So often they will unblock me and start the abusive messages without my ability to block them.8 votes -

Time to crack down on “Gen”
It is time for Grindr to crack down on people looking for money for sex. This is happening constantly. You report the profile and it is under moderation for days or nothing is done: Grindr does so little that people are even putting it on their profile. People get around with words like Gen and whatever else. Grindr moderation is pathetic. I don’t know who has designed their software/algorithms but it is pathetic. Moderation should be excellent and the app would function. Who is making all the money that they charge for premium service and they can’t even moderate this?…

To avoid potentially meeting someone that doesn't exist the ammount of times Iv douched shaved ect to meet someone and they just end up ghosting you

Add "neurodiverse" as a personality tag
People with ADHD, autism and other neurodiverse conditions make up about 5 to 10 percent of the population and being able to find people like yourself would be a great way to connect

Knowing if a user is logged off
Why does the green light stay on 10 minutes after the user logs off? Make it turn off immediately so we know not to message until we see the green light again. Sending a message to someone who might not see it for hours or days is dumb. Make it an active experience.

Raw, Safe or No Preference Dedicated space on profiles
Grindr should add a section to each profile where users can specify whether they prefer BB (Raw), Safe (Condoms only), or No preference. Currently most users specify via tags. But as this is an important sexual topic for all users, a dedicated space would help provide clarity.
