Ideas for addressing the huge increase in spam.
The amount of spam accounts is out of control, and it doesn't seem like Grindr is doing much about it. Here are some ideas:
Delete the social fields from profiles and set up better text filters for profile text. The social media fields are only used for spam anyway.
Or, keep a record of the spam social accounts and just block those from being linked. Many are constantly linking to the same social account, how hard is it to block that account from all profiles?
Shadow ban accounts that get one spam report until they verify as human. This slows…

Block users
In my personal opinion. I don’t like the fact that any user can by rude and offensive with me and then block me and the whole conversation fades away and all the evidence goes away. I can’t even report that profile because it’s disappeared. So what? I have to be victim of verbal abuse and do nothing???
And let that person doing that to others like nothing??Verbal abuse. Spam. Scammers. Non showing persons. Unreal people talking. Abusive.
I suffer all of these in this app. And couldn’t even report them because they blocked me and disappear.

Leave the favorite feature as it was
When I click the favorite feature where now have been placed, doesn't load up the pictures and takes forever to work as it was before, it is frustrating. If you make changes, make sure everything works as intended or not make any changes. I'm a paid member, not acceptable to have issues with "new experimental half baked changes"

I’m so disappointed that there are over 21 pages of propositions to add a chaser identifier to the app consisting of dozens of prompts each and those collectively having thousands of votes- and still nothing is done. This is not a complicated ticket to complete?

Did you forget or never know at all.
This has gotten so bad. There are more perfect looking trans profiles than men on here and they aren't even real this is small community where most people know each other and the Trans profiles are not real. This was a platform for gay and bi men nothing wrong with that. There are platforms out there for trans straight and lesbian people they should use those. AI data training should be Auto Opt Out
I am so uncomfortable that everyone is automatically opted in to have their chats photos and locations fed to train an AI and even if you opt out the data has still been taken. THIS SHOULD BE OPT OUT BY DEFAULT I am horrified that pictures of me might have been used to train an AI when i opted out the second I could. This is shameful and terrifying

Fewer taps to Mark spam
In order to mark someone for spam you have to tap six times. That is absolutely outrageous. It should be a lot fewer taps to get some profile from a scammer that you have not already removed. Many of these are the exact same picture and profile over and over again as well

Many sleep audio websites do indeed have several common pain points:
Too many ads: I get interrupted by pop-ups and countdown ads after listening for a short while, which makes me more and more anxious.

I want to share my experience with your platform, both as a user and someone who has been in recovery from meth addiction for the past four months. Two years ago, I was introduced to meth through connections I made on Grindr. Bring back free blocking
Grinder is just becoming a cash grab because soon enough we’ll have to pay to message ppl. Wtf are yous doing putting blocking behind a paywall. Sorry it out because I’ve used this app for a long time and I know about privacy laws and this isn’t legal
