Prevent abuse: blocking users after asking for photos
I suggest adding a safety feature:
If someone asks for photos and then immediately blocks or hides the other user, the blocked person should be able to find that profile again or have a way to report it.
Additionally, if a user blocks someone after requesting photos, access to those shared photos should be revoked or restricted to prevent misuse.
This would help prevent photo scams, harassment, and malicious behavior, and better protect user privacy.

A change to the application due to security and privacy issues
The world knows the sound a grinder makes; everyone knows that. Although there might be a minority who don't.The idea, if possible, is to make the interface a little less obvious to the world when one is outside on the street in a shopping center or etc.The thing is, people know that a black background with blue or yellow text means you're on Grinder. Interactive Distance map
Hi Grindr Team,
I’d like to suggest a new feature for the app. Currently, user profiles display the distance of other users from them (e.g., 2 km away). My idea is to make this distance clickable, so when someone clicks on it, it opens a small map. The map would show a general area based on the user’s location and include a circular radius to represent the specified distance.
This feature could give users a better visual understanding of how far someone is, while still keeping specific locations private.

Safer Guaranteed Hookups
Too much activity on the app where a person promises to hook up and they get my information for where I live and then they don't show up at all. One left to believe except that maybe they wanted my address to consider breaking in and stealing . You can't create a way to stop this. The amount of Bots, spam and scams is getting out of hand. Now when chatting with someone, lmy usual question is, "are you a real person? " With the amount of money I'm paying every month, I should be expecting to talk with actual people, at the VERY least. Get a fix for this ASAP‼️

Make it so screenshots can’t be taken of albums
Albums are there to help keep nudes only to the people you want to have them and you can stop someone from looking at your album later, but if they can take screenshots, there’s no point

sort distance by square mile sectors
any person can quite easily triangulate your location, usually your home, by driving around and checking your distance. even with distance off, they can see your distance relative to other people on tne browse tab.
very recently, someone has been claiming to be stalking me by finding my home with the distance feature. after looking this up, the fact that this is possible is horrifying and incredibly unsafe.
the easy fix would to, instead of measuring your exact location, snap to the center of a 1 or even 2 Mi² area that you are inside. this means you can only…

Bring back the block option please
Hide option doesn't help at all.
Sometime there are people who abuse you and bully you. but due to hide option you can't block them and they still can message you.

Set the limit for blocking.
There should be a limit to the number of people who can be blocked. Many people block others simply because they're not interested, and some do so for no reason at all.
If someone particularly enjoys blocking others, it's likely a problem with that person.
Many people get blocked simply because they're not good-looking enough, which is really hurtful.

No show, ghosting, time wasters
Please do something to help cut down on people who make a plan and don’t show up, don’t say anything and stop replying. When someone commits, they tie up your time, you stop looking, you get ready to host a guest, or you travel only to a fake address (very dangerous) or they just don’t answer on arrival. The only way to stop this in community is by the community calling it out. Even had a person I met 2x before tell me he was alone, invited me, and walked 7 blocks over only to watch him open his door…

I've been on grindr for 12 years. I have always wanted a way to block and report without clicking on the profile. (Tap and hold. A list appears. With block and report as options)
So you never have to be on someone's recent views at all... you can discreetly block without anyone ever seing you visited there profile even for 30 seconds..

Hide/Block Shortcut
Can we add the hide/block feature as a shortcut when you are on the grid and press and hold on someone’s profile please :) Right now you can chat favorite or tap but, can we add hide/block to that as well. This way we don’t have to click on the profile to then click on the upper right corner to hide/block. Especially now that profile views are a huge thing, let’s not add ourselves to their profile viewed list if we don’t have to. Pls :)
