Allowing users preferences show the people we see.
When we sign on of course there is the default option where we see the type of guys close to us, but I’ve asked a lot of users what they think would help and they agree let us set our preferences to be what we see. And don’t allow people to say they are apart of a tribe if there pics don’t match the tribe.

Please add a heart to the Tap option :)))
Add a heart to the tap feature, would be cool to send a heart to matches we like cause currently the taps only show intent of hookup

Stop showing profiles not near me
If Grindr is location based it should only show profiles near me.

Location change
Allow users access to change location its will be helpful to travel over and then search if u can allow it they search and meet the person

Viewed Me
Change Viewed Me notification dot color to white or yellow; red is too dark to see if the phone is at arm's reach or sitting in a darker spot for discretion and the screen dims. Maybe even pulse the intensity.
Optional: Inbox notification too.

A setting, where you have a profile picture on, but you can choose to only have it seen by other people who have a profile picture on
In india at least, far too many people have blank profiles, which are used to stalk / catfish etc other people. Which is why most people prefer not to post a picture of themselves. And then it gets to a point when pictures are to be shared and it’s a “you first” game going on. It’s annoying and ends up being inconsequential.
What if, people could put on their profile pictures, which are only visible to people who have pictures of themselves on. 🤷♂️

Pre-filtered matches
A person should be able to set their preferences, and we should have a view of all potential matches. In other words if I’m not their type…age…race etc…filter them out of my custom view. I’m tired of messaging people where they look at your profile and don’t respond.

To many no shows and flakes need reliable hook ups
Need more people to be on point when it comes to meeting I have wasted gas many time for people to not be at the location you should be suspend for two day upon false hook up’s making people waste they time at 3 no shows account should be banned and be required to make a new account sometime people have to learn a lesson to prevent wasting peoples time

Delete old unused saved msgs by time or allow to delete manually
Why can't you set auto delete of saved responses/msgs by days, mo., or year since unlimited are only allowed 50 saved replies/msgs

Deal with human beings
Customers who buy your product not only expect the app to work as describe and by reporting an issue with the UI, or anything else, also expect to be dealt with by a human being. The app develops faults, glitches, errors which are inevitable and that is understood to a point. Sending an automated, pro-forma reply to customers is not only unprofessional but also a lack of respect for the loyalty those customers show the Grindr app. It must be an priority to develop an in house, human populated, customer focused service which has for primary objective the care of…

Hashtags - giving and taking
Hashtags are quite unclear so far. For example #big
Does that mean, that I am big or that I am looking for big?
Not all big guys look for other big guys. Not only big guys are interrested in big guys.
Also you should group the tags to catergories so you can tell if that particular hashtag is about sexual preference or hobby. Maybe you can do that easily with different colours.11 votes -

Do you think we are stupid??
Stop taking your customers for bloody mugs - £69.99 for 3 months is outrageous, immoral and frankly daylight robbery but then we get to the real insult…£399 for the year advertised as 19% or £19 off…can’t remember which I was so furious - just renew the 3 month one for the length of a year and that £120 saving - come on - even your board is better than this insult

How about fix everytime I do a hard reboot of my iPhone grindr will not open and has to be reinstalled
