Banning the use of the word GEAR and other drug related references
Banning the use of the word “Gear” or other drug related terminology within the Bio or Profile to prevent drug dealers or exposure to recovering substances abusers to sell or relaps. Allow for tags, sure, like scruff does. But this way it’s a little more discrete to the makes it less accessible.

Stop being greedy capitalists
I took 6 months off grindr and so much is behind a paywall now its absolutely useless. This app is absolute garbage and exploiting marginalized communities. Any LGBTQ+ people working for you should be ashamed of themselves. This was the last queer space online that didn't leech money from people who are statistically more likely to be poor. I used grindr for years and i hate this change and am personally disgusted. Shame on your abhorrent capitalist ethics

Block account, and any new account from the same device
People i block keep making new accounts, its literally usless to block. Just make it so i have the option to block all accounts and future accounts from the same device at least. It will stop people from harrasing us.

Please create HIV status filter
Please create HIV status filters and please create HIV status preference selections part of the main profile. Please create pop up warning when ignorant dudes write “ I’m clean” that educates them on the insensitivity of that word usage.

Allowing reporting in explorer
When in explorer mode on a free account, there’s occasionally a profile that needs to be reported for some legitimate reason. But in order to report that profile, you’re forced to a subscription purchase screen. That makes no sense.

Police
There should be some sort of enhanced security feature. There was recently a court case in the news regarding a college student that someone went after through the grindr app. I know there were also a group of people that were blasting people using the Grindr app through highly illegal means meant to hurt people. This has not been in the media yet. I know I have personally sent in several police reports along with evidence regarding a large number of incidents.
