Should beginners use AI prompts, or is it better to learn on their own?
To be honest, I’ve just recently started getting into poker and already feel a bit overwhelmed with all the strategies out there. Why Do Simple Bugs Stay Unfixed?
Have you ever wondered why some popular games keep simple bugs for months?
Big studios have talented developers and huge budgets, yet obvious bugs or small UX issues sometimes stay unfixed for a long time survival race . Is it because they're focused on new content, technical limitations, or something else behind the scenes?
I'd love to hear from developers or anyone with industry experience. What are the main reasons?

Give users the ability to restrict messages from "Joined Recently" accounts.
If users could use the setting "Do not allow messages from Joined Recently accounts unless I message first," that would reduce incoming spam messages for most users by probably 90% or more. It's an easy fix.

SPAM. So much spam
Add a non-removable feature on each profile that shows the date created or how long a profile has existed. This would tremendously help identify spam/duplicate accounts created with stolen photos. This has proven extremely effective on Facebook for weeding out spam buyer messages on Marketplace listings 🤷🏻♂️
Maybe add some level of authentication or human interaction like a captcha to be able to create or reply to a new message.

Add a built-in safety education section for new users
I've been thinking about how many people on Grindr - especially younger users - don't really know the basics of staying safe when meeting someone from an app. Right now there's barely any guidance inside the app itself. It would be great to have a short, interactive onboarding module that covers things like sharing your location with a friend, recognizing scam profiles, and consent basics. I saw how one education software development solution approached building in-app learning flows for a health platform and it honestly felt like something Grindr could adapt. Verifying identity. This will protect all users and eliminate fake profile and profiles that try to exploit users like myself for money.
Suggested Feature: Verified Identity for All Users
I’d like to suggest that Grindr implement mandatory identity verification for every account. Many other platforms already use facial verification or ID checks to confirm that users are real people. A similar system on Grindr would significantly improve user safety.
Verified identities could help:
- Reduce fake and impersonation accounts.
- Prevent scammers and extortion attempts.
- Make it much harder for banned users to create new accounts.
- Better protect minors by helping verify users’ ages.

Question: why when cycle between profiles and transfer my subscription, the people who are under the extra line on the profile I haven't transferred to yet are completely different but then as soon as I transfer my subscription all the same people come back again, it seems a little sketchy to me guys.
