Repeated bug: profile photos being deleted when adding new photo
Hello Grindr Support,
I’m contacting you again about an ongoing technical issue that has already happened multiple times.
When I try to add a new photo to my profile, the app randomly deletes one or more of my existing profile photos without warning. This is NOT the first time this has happened, and I have already contacted support about this issue before.
This is extremely frustrating and makes it difficult to maintain my profile. I am not manually deleting these photos — the app is doing it on its own.

Distance away, first people 12-16 miles away (hate it)
Not sure if you all did the “distance” away (first people are 12-17 miles away) to try and mix up who is close by to you, but I absolutely hate it. Especially if they don’t have the distance feature on, I don’t know if they are close to me or many many miles away. I enjoy getting connected with people close to me, not far away, if I wanted that, I would search for people farther away. Please change this feature back, myself and a lot of people hate this. Distance Search Filter/threshold please!
You have so many options to filter users that appear in the grid yet no way to filter out people that are 138 miles away when the last person I looked at was 40 miles away.
Easy fix!!
Just do a slider in the filters tab with a new distance filter. It sets the max threshold and doesn’t show profiles that go beyond that set mileage. Ooorrr maybe profiles past the set mileage show up muted like 50% dark and black and white. Yeah?

Travel feature is inaccurate
Travel feature sets location to an area that is incorrect. For example, Provincetown, Mass changes to South Boston. Provincetown is either a 90 minute ferry or 2 hour car drive from South Boston.

Search tool for bios or profile descriptions
There should be a tool that allows you to search for key words (or anything you type) and then filter in only profiles that have whatever you typed in, in their bio.
For example, I usually am hunting for profiles that have stuff similar to "Down for anything," or "Open to Whatever." But it's hard to find those people, especially with all the extra profiles, or when they think it's a great idea to add absolutely nothing else to their profile stats. Shortest driving distance filter.
Display the shortest driving distance, by using a maps service like Waze. Direct distances can be very deceiving when there are waterways involved.

Remove persistent Xtra banner
The Xtra banner used to be visible only when scrolling Xtra profiles. Making it persistent as it is now makes it more difficult to scroll, and removes the visual cue that the user was reviewing Xtra profiles.
Please revert to having the banner only after viewing available/ free profiles

Request reason or be messaged a reason for profile picture being denied
If your profile picture is denied you should be able to ask what the reason was or someone should message you and tell you why. I tried to post a photo laying down with no nudity just shirtless but was told it was against guidelines...was it because I don't have 6 pack abs? I know a lot of the guys on the app discriminate against none fit guys but I guess the people running the app discriminate against them too
