Grinder needs to stop being so profit oriented
Biggest issue is still , money this is one of the most expensive apps out there and it's quality is the lowest in analysis of the three I've have been dealing with in the past two year,take look at what other apps offer as non paid membership compare the three , positive,and negative s in equation and you see exactly what Grinder is about. Why has blocking people become so unnecessarily complicated? It used to take just two clicks, but now it’s four, with a huge popup and even more steps. On top of that, I already spend so much time filtering out profiles I’m not interested in, like trans women or men with long hair or cross dressers in women’s clothing. It’s frustrating and makes the app feel less appealling to get on. For a service I’m paying extra for, this decline in functionality is unacceptable. Fix the whole app.
I'm in the middle of typing a message and the app switches me to an ad. So damn annoying. The ads are getting more and more frequent. I have to wait for the ad to finish now instead of closing the app and reloading it again, but that means you lose the message you have written and also if its a 1 off profile view or message, when you come back to it, that profile is no longer available as I have used up my 1 free profile view. I have lost potential meetups with guys , some thinking ive…

Profiles not loading in distance order
Sometimes while refreshing the grid there will profiles that spawn that are 30+ miles away. It should be more consistent when loading.

Receiving profiles for men HUNDREDS of MILES away
Two things. First, allow us to enter a "distance away" number in miles the same as other filters.
Second, automatically limit the grid entries to no more than 30 miles away unless we ask to see profiles more than 30 miles away (using the above filter).91 votes -

Account Restrictions For Free Users
I remember at one when ads would unlock up to 600+ extra profiles. I’m sure others would agree if I suggested that feature be added back in the app immediately

Can't find location
If it just can't find my exact location.... And I haven't moved like going actually town or something... What's wrong with going off the approximate location? My town is about 5-8 miles across... Or just using the last known location and going with that?
With this "can't find exact location" NOTHING on the screen gets updated... Messages?? Idk. It won't update them...

Hidden users list: stable sorting by descending of hiding date
Current behavior:
The list is unsorted and shuffles after each deletion.

Notifications are always delayed on Android.
I'm using Grindr on Android. For as long as I can remember, notifications are delayed by 5 minutes or more unless app is in the foreground with the screen on. It has become even more obvious now that I also have Grindr installed on my iPad. I will receive a Grindr notification on my iPad when the message is received, but no notification on my phone. If I then turn my Android screen on, I suddenly receive the notification, but if I don't turn my screen on, the notification is delayed by 5 minutes or more. Message notifications from other…

Grid shows people over 100 miles from my location but shows them close. I’ve done everything to fix it

Last update fucked up the pre saved messages
Since the last update the pre saved messages doesn't appear as a suggestion when I wrote the first letter of it, it was so helpful before. I have mane of this messages and now I have to open de tab and search the one I need, it's awful
