1. Grindr crashes my iPhone

   My iPhone (Pro 13 Max) seems to be crashing while using Grindr, my phone freezes and I have to hard reset it. This only happens while using Grindr. Please fix problem (5th time this week)

4. App should retain data after uninstalling

   Why does the app delete the data if i uninstall it. The best way for privacy is whenever I reinstall the app, data should be there. The iOS doesn't have any lock for Grindr and I can't buy iPhone just because of this issue. I cant hide the Grindr app there. In Android,I have made another user account just to keep my Grindr. I think all problems will be resolved if you allow the app to keep the photos,album data even if i uninstall it.

6. Navigation / swiping between profiles / pictures

   The navigation between profiles is sometimes quite annoying. Usually you need to use the upper left "<" to go back to the grid (either when in a conversation or flicking through photos or profiles).

   In many applications swiping from left to right (at the middle of the screen) does the same trick and is much more convenient in contrast to using the "<".

   It would be good if the left to right swiping would be applied consistently within the different sections of the App (from profile to profile / pictures within a profile or conversation) to come back to the Grid/overview.

   Currently there seems to be an error in the logic as sometimes I am tapping on the "<" and it is like a loop - picture or text and it takes several tapping before you're back at the grid. Maybe you can verify if all code is at the right place.

10. Could it be?

    What goes around, comes around?
    As I deal with same Grindr app deficiencies and it’s broken promises as you all, I wonder if we should borrow from the past.
    In my day, go ahead laugh it up, we had no choice but to meet people face to face. Most of the time it was night clubs or those infamous gay bars ( the kids will prob cringe ). And no, not all these places were awful to walk into.
    Just think of the endless filters I had at my fingertips! Not my type, walk right past you. No DM’s with typos, you had to actually speak to people. Didn’t like the crowd at one place drive to the next one. Walked into a lesbian bar? Hell, those girls were damn fun! But you got to pick and choose who you went home with just as easy, all be it more fun, as these damn apps. Usually spent little doing it and you had a crap ton more friends from the experience! Most of all, we weren’t sitting at home hiding behind the internet being anti social and hyper judgmental.

    With all this online frustration…is this coming back around again? Maybe it should. Give it a try.
    And relax with this post..it’s for the humor.

12. Su mensajeria esta muy deficiente

    Cuando no se manda un mensaje ya ni si quiera aparece en los mensajes en rojo como antes que no se había mandado, mejor dejen el mensaje en cola,y que se mande cuando se tenga que mandar, como los de WhatsApp que en algún momento se envían, y no en su app que no se envían y no se mandan en automático.

13. Offline/Online Controls Ganged Together

    Why are the online controls for Favorites and the Grid tabs now ganged together? I used to leave my Favorites on offline because i contact people even when they're not online. With the controls ganged together whatever is selected on one tab is activated on the other. This leads to a very frustrating experience in an already frustrating app.

    On iOS provide a ScrollView for notes that extend beyond 6 lines.

    This ScrollView is scrollable only when creating a note and/or just when saved.

    If a note has more than 6 lines, the rest (7th line and beyond) don't display nor can you scroll down the text into view.

    It would also be useful for a note to extend up to 1 KB, since multibyte characters (such as emoji) chew-up quickly the 250 bytes allowed.

20. Profile Image Quality and Composition

    Profile images viewed in the grid view sometimes show more of the image composition compared to when viewed larger. The grid view is representing images in a square one-to-one ratio thumbnail appearance. But, when viewing the image larger, most smartphone screens are taller than wide, and therefore images submitted as 1028p x 1028p end up getting cropped. As far as I know, you are not able to drag to reposition, change the scale/zoom, or use multi-touch gestures like pinch to zoom, etc.

    It seems an app that almost relies on images; the overall implementation could be more elegant. Allow higher resolution images, use of multi-touch gestures, figure out the aspect ratio issue mentioned earlier, and maybe use artificial intelligence to evaluate images for quality, or even composition.
