I can’t believe I got flagged for having ‘no old’ in my bio. Maybe if your app protected users from everyone and anyone making sexual advances on them, you wouldn’t need to do such a thing. You have alot of profiles on your app in the area that are being apart of a crime using knowledge of who i am by using it as a hate crime
You have individuals using your app and spoofing there location to go against innocent victims to encite anger towards myself. By harming my family members holding my mother hostage and confined in her home and leaving with my little 19 year old sister and raping her and putting her to do unspeakable things to them. Men are going in and out of there home and because of fear they aren't speaking out and it's wrong and it needs to be reported. Force users to verify that a social media account is actually theirs. It would make it more difficult for catfishers to scam people.

Temporarily becoming invisible
It would be fab, to be able to ‘pause’ your account whilst undergoing treatment for STIs. The profile will not appear on the grid, in chats or in favourites. We could mark profiles we have hooked up with and then when ‘pausing’ our profile this triggers an anonymous message to recent sexual partners within Grindr.

Discreet app icon update
The point of a discreet app is not be something random but all the options have hearts or something to do with dating. Can we create more options or maybe lets users generate icons by selecting a single emoji or from a selection of preconfigured icon.

Blank User Shield
The abundance of blank and photo-less profiles is concerning and incessant.
Allow users with photos the option to be invisible to blank users or to appear blank to those without profile photos. This would ensure a more equitable sense of privacy among pictured & blank users.15 votes -

If the incognito feature can’t be made available free Members privacy and usage time rights should still considered. It’s increasingly disturbing the timing it’s showing a user is online after logging off with messages coming through hours after real time use of app. Often hours later messages arrive disturbing sleep social situations Understandably forever manually adjusting notifications etc will do this but if it’s to hard it’s a negative and like many starting to think it just getting harder to use App

Everyone should be allowed to unsend any and all photos that are exchanged between the two Grindr party's do to safty concerns for each individual. People tend to save or screenshot other people photos with the intent to threaten, stock, harass, post derogatory comments attached to ones photo, and to share negative thoughts and feelings about a person to others in hopes of bringing the grinder community together for support to attack said person. Please it's a safety concern for people and it puts lives are in jeopardy

Unable to change the password.
There is no option within the app to change or update the password. Also, once logged out, the app will not accept the new password or any password.

Ability to hide or disabled the “viewed you” counter at the top right of the app.
Imagine you are an 18 year old guy, new to the app. You can see 120 guys have viewed you but you’ve only received messages for 2 guys. Some people will internalise that as “wow, that means 118 guys don’t find me attractive. I must be so ugly”. I think it’s very dangerous for peoples mental health. Personally, I’d rather not know how many people have viewed me.
