2. Allow people to choose who can see when they are active

   There are a lot of users on Grindr who are stalking members. As a paying member I think it should be an option that you can select certain profiles that you would like to not block completely but at least block from seeing you are active and where you are located when you are.

3. "Parks" under the Meet Up option

   Just a thought, I'm sure coffee shop is an equivalent but personally I prefer meeting in public. Not necessarily date esc always but I got a dog and know so many others that do too that I find it applicable. Maybe I'm biased. Nor is it a SUPER big deal. 4. Add more options to the body type

   Adding more options for the bigger people in the app would increase the accuracy of what they are trying to convey but also how they identify. There needs to be more than STOCKY or LARGE. Let’s try and add some more like: husky, chubby, thick, belly, dad bod.

5. Give people an unlimited trial

   Give people the unlimited version as a trial maybe For 1 month. Or to the People that are struggling due to the price of living food and going up. We need an escape from something, and a lot of people use grindr for that escape. This can give people a chance to Meet People that are not Close to them, and hopefully find a new connection with someone or finding a new friend. Which everyone needs right now is someone to talk to. This app is made for meeting new people and making friends.
   Not just for hooking up. Give People like me an opportunity to meet people outside of our little range that we get.

6. Change "Tribes" to "My Tribe" and/or add a LF tribe category on one's profile

   Simple solution for those people, who uses the "Tribes" to say what they are looking for, rather than what they are...
   The Tribes filter makes no sense this way. When looking for "daddy" I don't wanna see a 18 year old kid...

8. Please store more than one year of chat history

   As I'm sure you know there have been multiple problems with restoring chat history in your new app. I will be patient on this.
   What I want to address here is that you are restoring chat history going back only one year. This is totally inadequate. As someone who frequently travels, any chats that I had with people in different cities more than a year ago are now gone. I imagine you're dealing with your own storage capacities but I think you should restore at least 2 years of chat history

9. Open more results on free version

   With the latest update I see maybe 3-6 people I can view. The matches are generally so poor that I’m not encouraged to pay to see more people. Seeing better matches is what would encourage me to move to the paid version to see more. This narrowing makes it way LESS likely- and more likely I’ll leave the app for something else altogether.

10. Sending photos only allowed if you receive a response

    With new law changes in the UK, sending unsolicited photos is now a crime. So, I urge Grindr to fix their community guidelines and take appropriate action towards people who literally commit a crime!! Also, make it so people cannot send you a photo if you haven't interacted with their messages.

12. Filters reduce the number of profiles you can interact with

    The "Tribe" "Age" and "Looking for" filters have always been allowed for all users to use and it would not reduce the number of profiles you could interact with. All three could be active and you'd be able to chat with the first, at least 40 or 50. Now when all 3 are active you can interact with the first three profiles and that's it.

    It's making the app essentially useless ESPECIALLY because we weren't informed beforehand that this change would occur

16. Block list management

    Your system makes it borderline impossible to find a blocked account and unblock them after a user has blocked many other people. I'm certain I'm far from the only Xtra subscriber who feels like this is some kind of abusive tactic to make us pay for unlimited just to get incognito mode. It's extremely frustrating and makes me want to quit using Grindr altogether. I'm nearly certain to do just that if it's not fixed in the next 3 months.

    I'm an attractive user who gets a lot of unwanted contact from people who should know I am out of their league. For this reason, I block most users I see in my area proactively, to avoid the discomfort of rejecting them, and to free up squares in my grid.

    In other cases, somebody I might well be very fond of, I block for any number of reasons with the intent of unblocking them in the future.

    Your system makes this EXTREMELY burdensome, to the point that I have more than once just cleared my block list to reestablish contact, which then results in a tremendous amount of very unpleasant experiences as all those users start contacting me like I'm the new hot guy in town.

    I can't filter or search my block list. I must manually scroll and look at each horrifying image and obscene display name, reliving many unpleasant experiences in the process.

    After a couple of swipes down, it pauses to load more, and it takes time for images to load. During the time the images are loading there's no indication that an image will be appearing, it just looks like an account with no image.

    Due to this, you end up scrolling past the person you aimed to unblock, and get all the way to the first blocked user before you realize what happened.

    At the end of the block list Grindr does not indicate there are no more blocked users. It just shows a never ending waiting indicator while I sit there like an idiot waiting for something that will never occur, eventually realize what happened, then repeat that SAME MISERABLE EXPERIENCE IN THE UPWARD DIRECTION!

    It's SO BAD that I find it difficult to believe it was done in error. Only something maliciously designed by very intelligent people could be so excruciating.
