An error occurred while saving the comment Hey Jose. Not at all they shouldn’t remove any service and they should be adding more actually. U r literally the first person to ask to remove it. Just because u don’t like it and it doesn’t suit ur needs doesn’t mean others don’t use it or like it.
That’s a bit selfish if I may add.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hello Dylan, if you read my post you'd see that the gender issue was only one part, and i wrote to type down whatever the issues were you are facing on grindr twitter. The posts here go all the way up to 5 years without being seen or answered.
And as i said im sure she is a nice person and im not attacking her. But for someone to advocate for gay rights/needs on a gay dating app, that person needs to be a gay guy.
Grindr wont respond to us here, so lets bring all our issues to their twitter. Thats all what i wanted to say. Cheers 🙏🏼💋
An error occurred while saving the comment Hello Dylan and hope you are well. I’m sure she’s an amazing person, but if you check her last review of a post was in 2021, which is two years ago.
As she is an administrator, and the only one who commented on the posts from Grindr. She should be more active, her last post was two years ago. And if you go to the section planned, you’ll find the ideas are pending since 2018, which is five years ago.
So regardless if she’s an amazing person or not, and as you said, astoundingly qualified woman, but for me when i see how neglected the posts are for 3 and 5, that really screams either unprofessionalism or they simply just dont care. If she is busy or unable to do her duties for any reason, then grindr should appoint someone else to do so.!
Plus either qualified or not, she would still not feel our struggles with this app. We need a gay guy shares the same values like us, and wants to make grindr for gay men again.
Now if they dont want want to lose their client base of trans, fem,CD, she-males, heterosexual women and men, and their admirers.They can create another app from all the money of subscriptions we paid for and migrate them all there.
And i’m sure every single person here agrees with me, cheers.

Actually I realized there is no point at of us posting and commenting here. The admin/moderator is a cis woman who doesn’t really care about us gays or the app. I suggest we all go on grindr twitter to voice our concerns.
Plus we need to complain about having cis woman who is heterosexual. But even if she is homosexual, she cannot be a moderator in an app thats for gay guys. Thats why all these str8 girls and guys, trans, CD and she-males started Appearing.
Check her profile plz in the closed ideas you’ll see her.
You'll be shocked to see many posts which has many votes but left neglected for over 3 years now, even though it has many votes and supports. This just shows that she doesn’t care and Grindr or doesn’t care.
Plus for trans, she-males, CD they have tons of apps for them and their admirers.
So plz lets all of us go to twitter and voice our concerns. And tell them we are leaving the app if this doesn't change. We demand to make Grindr for gay guys again and strictly no girls or straight men.
No female staff as moderators or admins or decision makers. And whatever you guys need to voice. Im honestly fed up with this app and if they dont change we will be leaving and there are many other apps willing to have us. Cheers.

It’s on an app called Shortcuts and what’s amazing about it, is that you can lock any app and make it require a password to open it. Just Google how to lock apps using Shortcuts on iPhone. If you are an android user, there are different apps for that as well.

There are barely any iPhone users in Asia and the owner is Chinese, while most of the users in the USA and the western world use iPhone. I canceled my subscription as there is no way I’m paying $136 while others pay $75 just because they are on android phones. Plus he had some extra features that I never had.
An error occurred while saving the comment So when I was telling my friend about the Grindr extra fees, I was shocked to know they have different prices for iPhone users vs Android users.
On iPhone it costs around $136 per years for the Grindr, while on android, the cost is only $75 which is almost half the price.
Shocking honestly, so I emailed Grindr to ask on what’s the reason. In the reply, they said the reason is the fees and commission on Apple Store are way higher than android store.
Which I know is a complete BS, because I own some apps on both stores. The prices are almost the same on both stores. I think just because the iPhone is American, and android is sort of Asian and based mainly in Asia, and the new owner of grindr is a Chinese guy based in Los Angeles since 2019.
They want to raise up the prices for iPhone users only I guess. Is the only app that I know that has almost double the prices for iPhone users.

An error occurred while saving the comment @ Mayur Dive, I think, because Grindr is money hungry, and the feature to place your profile on travel mode to somewhere else can only be done with premium memberships. They want to push people to pay to use that feature. While if you use mock location they are losing money. It’s sad but true.

I’m an iPhone user, and I was surprised to see the settings on my friend’s phone who has android. It’s completely different and they can report a person who was rude and block them.

Its awesome for you and the 5% who are into trans but it’s exhausting, stressful and annoying for the rest of us 95%. We dont want to see women figures, boobs, etc. so take ur trans plz and move to the dozens if trans only apps.
Imagine a straight guy walking to a bar full of lesbians and hitting on them and saying its alright be cool we are all human beings at the end. Thats exactly how yall make us feel.

Grindr is becoming toxic and we are fed up honestly. Its no longer the app we go to and enjoy being safe and feel ourselves at. Enough is enough.
This is actually baf because it will allow stalkers, mentally ill, and psychopaths to track us. Let’s say for example, I said I’m going to sleep which I am but then I woke up at 3 am in the morning to go to the toilet, open the app just to check one message and then go back to sleep.
That will make my stalker, think I’m lying to them, and I’m meeting someone else. This is the worst idea suggested.
