Once you come to the realization that it's the Grindr admins themselves sending you all those ads & OF pages it all makes sense. Can't blame them - they're here to make a buck, not help you get a blowjob.
I mean what do you expect? For them to block their own ads??? Get real!

If the admins would just admit that they are the ones behind most of the OF subscription entreaties at least that would take away some of the frustration /anger regarding being bombarded by ads.
Recently I've been getting a lot of blank profile inquiries that, when clicked on, take me immediately to an advertisement. Who else but an admin could achieve that?
Just admit it and you'll defuse a lot of the anger & frustration!! -

Those fake ads and entreaties to subscribe to an OF page probably come from the Grindr admins themselves. I mean, think about it: they are continuous, occur the minute you log on and are generic. Who else but an admin could achieve that on a continuous basis??
If there was a way to prevent people from seeing my profile that I won't be interested in that should eliminate the fear of rejection & exclusion. If someone can see my profile they would know I'm open to them and not have to send out 100 unanswered messages enduring the sense of rejection that accompanies that.
I know a lot of you think you're helping, but you're really just piling coals on their head.
