  1. Stop taking over my fucking device and forcing me to go out of the app and watch the stupid ass advertisement. Figure something else out.

    AMEN!!! I usually have to close the app and open it again to get back control of my phone. Grindr must think we are all 100% gamers and are somehow incredibly interested in these crappy ads for online games. Some of them also start blaring audio content without warning. Scruff just puts a message in your inbox and you can review it at your leisure. Grindr forces users to wait to view the ad countdown and then skip it. Then there is always a SECOND AD that you have to click through. This is incredibly aggressive and intrusive.

    I'm not experiencing issues with the same person creating profiles and harassing me, but this app is terrible at identifying bots who create fake new accounts by the hundreds. There simply can't be that many new 20-30 year-olds within 3 miles of my house. They follow the same pattern - no profile picture, newly created, always same age range and generally very sparse profile data completed. They also like to use "heyy" or "right now" for some reason. I block dozens per day, hoping Grindr will somehow analyze the patterns for blocked users. They never do. Scruff does not have this problem to the same degree. I do not pay for premium, so I get the limited number of profiles to view near me. It's annoying when half of them are taken up by fake posts. I have to block them daily to free up room for legitimate profiles.

    Police your users better to stop all the fake profiles and spam. Dozens of fakes added daily near me. Scruff doesn't have this problem.

  5. A lot of robo profiles sending messages to other users suggesting other gay websites possibly phishing and users profiles that wont load.
