Multiple Ethnicity
Rather than lumping ALL people of multiple ethnicity as "mixed" why not do as the U.S. Census does and allow people to check MULTIPLE boxes? So rather than "mixed" someone could be identified as "black, asian", or "latino, native American". They can check as many as they identify with.

Screen time/time outs
Like almost everyone on the app wastes ALOT OF TIME chasing a goose for nothing so much time gets sucked away on here it’s maddening I think Grindr needs a screen time limit to force people to get off of it and get off or socialize or something but these apps are really hurting us as a community by locking us behind a phone screen and not actually talking instead! Madatory time outs!

Block the use of the same profile picture unless verified
In order to prevent fake profiles, Grindr should have a way to prevent the upload of main profiles already in use by someone else. If the picture is used, there should be some kind of verification system to determine that person is who they say they are. This should avoid spam on Grindr

90 day inactivity auto delete account
90-180 days for std testing,90 days for probationary period at work,90 days for thc screening in hair for jobs operating heavy machinery, 50 first dates etc. If I don't logg on I would like brightened notification that I have not been on, while at work, while at home,while in jail, so i could feel rewarded about the length in time that I haven't sought out to lazily press a button to be who I can be off the app

Tap attention seekers
I thought taps were a ridiculous idea from the very begining-and told Grindr when asked before its launch. Not only people use it giving it a myriad different meanings, even within the same country, now people use it to lure you to an attractive profile, with an Instagram link and when you go there, there's nothing but exciting photos and a link shouting at you "Wow, check me out". When you click the search button at the bottom left, photos of current people will appear in a checkerboard shape.
Between the search button and the message button at the bottom
Please create a button called Now.I think it really shows the set of people who are ready to go right now.
It's like visiting a nightclub
Entrance fee is $3? Time is 2 hours?
Or you could offer this only to paid members with good regular paymentsI would like to suggest that there is also a method like this.

Small penis
The “hung” tag is great but without “small” Grindr is feeding a toxic masculinity mindset that hung is to be admired but small penises are not worthy. This is damaging self esteem in a lot of men and reinforcing anxiety for most men. Normalising small penises (or even average) would really help our community’s collective mental health. Most men are around 5 inches, let’s remember.

Blank profiles
Ok so we all know about Catfishing and you guys are letting far too many people get away with it. I honestly feel violated when i see that a “guy” with a blank profile has the nerve to say send pic for pic or looked at my profile possibly collected my pic and that’s it. Like wtf? Make message send and the app able to refresh on an android.
Have to restart the app to refresh and to be able to send messages a 2nd or 3rd time. Have an android and it is an inconvenience.to have to keep closing and restarting the app to talk to someone.
