Detect starlink asns and revert to gps geolocation data rather than ip
When using starlink, the location features are not reliable due to the IP Geolocation data being often incorrect.
When on Starlink or other satellite ips, Geolocation data should be pulled from the phone's GPS chip instead.1 vote -

Right now feature needs help.
I think we need a confirmation prompt or remove it from the grid space. I’ve accidentally triggered it 3 times. That or have a way to turn it off and save the time remaining

Get rid of AI generated profiles
I've enjoyed Grindr for many year but in the last month or so it is becoming increasingly unusuable for a gay man looking to meet other men.
The app is getting overrun with fake profiles, using AI generated photos purporting to be Transwomen. I've also seen some profiles purporting to be Cis women. The latter raises a serious question about what Grindr is - inclusivity is one thing, opening it up to all comers is quite another. Inclusivity taken to it ultimate conclusion just results in invisibility of those who Grindr started out trying to serve.

I see too many children under 18 have created a profile, there is no control in the application, it is good to pay attention to this, there are also many fake profiles

There's nothing to add here. The free section here contains profiles you're not interested in, the interesting ones are always in the paid section. Ads that freeze and don't close after 2-3 clicks anywhere. A ton of spam with external links leading to who knows where, and regular dick photos in private messages from profiles you're not interested in. And why does this crap require a phone number and a constantly running GPS? You're seriously some completely insane clowns. Multiselect
We need a multi select feature on the grid to hide people en masse. We need a multiselect feature in the chat list to delete multiple dead chats at the same time.
This app is TREMENDOUSLY overpriced for value, and getting incrementally worse, not better.

The filter function
The filter function seems not working with sense.
Designer with sense will know if you are applying a filter it means you are narrowing down the results. But when you apply the filter Grindr not only narrowing the results but reducing the results as it like. This does makes sense why without any filter the results are more but with any filter the results are much more lesser. For example age filter.
I hope the designer for Grindr will work with some sense rather than ruining or chasing away the users.3 votes -
Please allow mock location on Grindr
Please allow us to use mock location on grindr ASAP. Recently i got to know that my partner is cheating on me and i really wanted to catch him red handed while using grindr, but being not able to use mock location he could trace that my profile is visible to my area using explore.. so he wouldn't reply to me.. by using mock location i could trace and catch him red handed.
As i stay in a rural area and isolated place and whenever i make a plan to visit another city i could use mock location to explore…

Do not reset the filters
Is it possible that each time I open the app the filters stay as I set them? I am TIRED get back to the default settings and see profile I obviously have no intention to see because I have SET FILTERS.
Each update is really worse than the previous one and there is one once a week, it's like you collectively brainstorm about how to make this app more and and more unfriendly to use.
