4. Remove the tap option on temporary album or picture shared

   When a picture or pictures album is shared for limited time, the recipient should not be able to tap it otherwise the picture(s) appear(s) then in the conversation with the tap notification. It is not the purpose of a temporary sharing. Or it should be helpful to remove for both the notification. For the moment, the tap notification can be removed for the album owner.
   The only solution that I have is to block the guy…that was not the purpose of this application.

6. Discreetness: Custom Chat Colors & Custom Sounds

   You allow for a discreet icon but if sounds are on, its extremely non-discreet. The grinder sounds are recognizable by even straights now. They've appeared in movies even. Please allow a user to set custom sounds and choose basic system sounds so they can blend in.

   Also, custom chat message colors would help as well. I use an iphone and mimicing those colors would allow for eaiser app usage in public.

    The only way I can refresh the guys in the app is to turn off precise location for the whole app and then turn it back on. This only works most of the time.

12. Shut off Vibrations

    In settings, I switch shut off vibrations to off but the phone still vibrates on notifications. I am using an Applie 16 Pro with iOS 26. And everything is updated

13. Stop resetting my filters. It's annoying.

    I don't know if this is a bug or a "feature", but my filters reset every time I leave the app. It's super annoying and I hate it. Make it stop.

14. Random Profiles in my Grid

    Only show profile that are in your area… why are there random profiles in my grid that are 100+ miles away from me. Is it a product of the Boost feature? I have to say I am considering deleting the app that I have used for years. It’s crazy from the limits to how many profiles you can click on and see the full profile as a non paying member, which I use to be, but now I just can’t justify paying the cost(to high) compared to the overall experience of using the app. To many profiles wasting my time trying to get me to use other grinderlike websites, etc…

16. Hard to find contacts in Favorite nowadays

    First of all the favorite search tab should be back, then can actually search the notes that you put on the contacts.
    Secondly, people with the distance turned off is now all the way on the bottom of the favorite together mixed with the offline people and the people that deleted the app already.

18. I was thinking about buying a subscription but with all your performance issues this doesn’t seem like a good idea.

    You are so hooked up on having as many ads as possible and that seems to be the only thing left on Grindr which is working properly.

19. Stop letting people tap album pictures

    I pay for xtra. Every time i share my album with the “view once” limit, guys have started tapping the pics so they stay in chat and can continue to view them indefinitely—completely negating the point of “view once”. it’s ridiculous.

20. [BUG] [Android] | Replying in the notification sends message to the notification on top, not the one being replied to

    If youre replying in the notification UI, and receive a new notification, the reply will go to the newest notification. 3 times i have sent something to the wrong person and its just awkward..
