    I have tried for 2 days it can not find my location or update people near me. I tried all troubleshooting recommendations

  2. Display Complete Profile Description

    I’m noticing that many profile descriptions only display the first line. I checked my own and indeed, that’s happening on my profile. I checked unlimited and extra but don’t see a feature to display full profile description, either to ensure others can see mine, and also so I can view complete profile descriptions when I’m looking at the profiles of mother people.   3. Fix the BOTTOM Menu in iOS 18.1 beta 2

    The BOTTOM menu has disappeared from the app. This really reduces the VERSitility of the app. This needs to be a TOP priority to get it fixed. You should put a-SIDE other priorities and get this fixed. ;-)

  4. New favourite profiles don't show up under the new Favourites tab

    I have starred two profiles after chatting, but the profiles don't show under the new Star tab. In messages I can see the profiles are starred but they don't show under favourites, which still shows profiles starred before the update and of course there's now the old favourites follow whatever filters are selected, which is for checking new users, not known ones. Please revert the favourites at the bottom, where it was, this is hateful.

  5. Coding for distance is jacked up in Hawaii

    I live in area code 96720, which is on the Big Island of Hawaii.

    The app should display profiles located closest to me first, followed by those farther and farther away. Instead, it'll show the first couple of profiles closest to my location, then it'll populate a profile that's 200+ miles away, in Oahu, followed by the next closest profiles in my location, then it'll throw in another one or two profiles 200 miles away.

    e.g.

    Profile 1 - 1 mile away
    Profile 2 - 1.2 miles away
    Profile 3 - 206 miles away
    Profile 4 - 1.3 miles away…

    Just fix the location. I'm.over the "unable to identify your location" every time I log in and have to log out do a force stop and then log back in. Just fix it. Lord knows we're paying enough

  9. Separate tab for escorts so they stop ruining the app experience for all paid users. It is really extremely annoying!!!

    Escort profiles are one of the most annoying and experience-destroying aspect of the app. It ruins the user friendliness entirely: they either do not reply or try to turn you into a customer often not even saying they are escort until you add them on WhatsApp. Grindr should find a way to separate escorts from normal profiles for example by adding a new tab because the current way of doing it really isn’t working. The app is full of escorts and they don’t care that paying clients are not here for that. They just ruin the app and grindr needs…

  10. Go back to showing ONLYreal taps not looks

    I’m only interested in real taps. Showing me who looked isn’t of interest and you just use it to sell yet a more expensive version of the app if I stupidly click on one. We pay a premium price as it is-soliciting us for more is annoying.

  11. Fix your notifications

    For these high prices fix your app. For 1 tap I receive 3-6 messages notifications about that 1 tap. If someone sends me a message I also receive that same notification 2-6 times. Once for 3 different taps and 4 messages and 6 photos sent to me I received 36 messaged notifications. I do not pay to use this app so that I can get false notifications and deal with the annoyance. I have just let it go thinking this would be fixed in time but it seems to be getting worse. Now I am chatting and read messages and…

  14. When I tap the favorites bubble Grindr usually does not show the favorites I have or if it does, it doesn’t load the associated pictures

    Using the new favorites tab it either doesn’t load any at all or after several attempts it loads them but does not show any pictures: they are all black blanks.

  16. Stop putting a random person 60miles away at the top with close ppl

    The app is always putting one person that is 60 miles away at the top with people 1 mile away. I’m close to subscribing but definitely will not if I keep getting people over 60 miles away mixed in with people 1 mile away

    As a software engineer,this is bad practice because I’ll refresh numerous times and see those fake profiles “bouncing around”… I’m sure others realize this too….lets hammer your database with tons of ppl refreshing over and over and over to see which in the top six are actually near us and who is 60+ miles away

  18. To delete albums. I currently can't delete them, and would really like to...didn't think I'd have to write something about it..

  20. Instagram verification feature gone?

    The Instagram verified handles and photos that were introduced earlier in 2024 is gone, and there is no updated information regarding this? Have you pulled back the feature?

    This was a much needed feature to prevent catfishing which is way too prevalent on this app.
    Bring it back!
