2. Not paying for "have they read my message" & all other features that used to be FREE & STANDARD.

   Grindr keèps getting worse & worse along with being MEGA GREEDY by cutting back Standard Features then demanding you pay an arm, leg & dick $$$$ to go unlimited or extra or boost plus they though advertisement on the app so that it does not worth a damn. They need to go back 20+ rev.s back to their roots of why there was EVER a Grindr FOR GAY MEN. MOST of your customers will go to better apps SCRUFF & SNIFFIES WORKING ALOT BETTER just to name a few.

3. BRING BACK MY SAVED PHASES WITHOUT HAVING TO AGAIN UPGRADE TO HAVE MORE THAN ONE

4. Stop messing with the app

   Why do you do an update and then find basic features which make Grindr interesting don’t work ie roaming and unable to see profiles. Isn’t the whole point of the app to connect, if you lose basic functionality people won’t log on.

5. Free version lockdown is lame, May 2025

   The new changes made this month on the free version of Grindr is ridiculous. App is now unusable unless you want to pay the grossly overpriced fees that many can’t afford.

   Shame on you Grindr. I’ll assist in developing a new app that is affordable and not limited for anyone that can’t afford huge monthly fees.

8. The app constantly stops refreshing

   The app constantly fails to refresh on or off WiFi. This is becoming a daily issue. The app runs even more poorly with just cell service only. Optimize the app to work better on cell service alone.

10. Get rid of the fucking “taps”? Fake ass spamming profiles use them and you mother fuckers do nothing when it’s reported.

11. Profile photos not loading at all

    In my phone, for some reason, profile photos on the grid and in chats are not visible....only album photos and sent or receives photos are visible. Even I can't see my own profile photo 😬

12. Dismiss notification when chat is opened

    When I open a chat from within the app rather than a message from my notification bar, it should remove that message from my notification bar since it has now been viewed like it does on WhatsApp for example

15. Separation of inboxes

    One long list of messages is not good enough and clearly limited. I want to have inbox for chats overseas or chats in a specific area of just archived chats.. feels very basic yet missing. that will also solve the limit of messages in a single endless list. If this app is all about connection, without this feature you cannot expect it to last and be possible for those who travel often

17. BRING BACK THE ETHNICITY FILTER

    Bring back the ethnicity filter as I would like the choice to choose what I like. I don't think it's fair to leave people with absolutely no choice to decide on what they want. I think the ethnicity filter made life easier it made it easier to find what YOU wanted.

18. High Cost = Glitches

    This app is non-stop glitches. There are so many I can’t even keep track. For the amount of money that we pay for an unlimited subscription, it would be nice to have a smooth functioning application. I think I’m not alone in saying that the only reason many of pay for this app is because of its wide-spread use. If there was an alternative, I would switch in a heart beat. We deal with it because of the amount of people who use Grindr. That is the only reason I continue to pay for it. Please get some software developers who are solely devoted to making this app a nice smooth experience for the paid users. We should not have to constantly force close the app, refresh, resend, or re-do anything. It’s extremely annoying. Messages do not come immediately which creates the illusion that someone did not respond in a timely manner. This is so bad, I’m seeing it in the bio of profiles. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to fix all these reoccurring glitches with chat and other functions. Why do so many other apps works nice and smooth without constant troubleshooting by the user? Grindr will continue to lose more users if these issues are not resolved. You guys have had decades to perfect this experience. If you had a better quality product, you would not need to charge so much for a subscription because you would have 5X as many users as you do now. Someone will do better eventually and it will be a slow demise of this app.

19. Return Block. Hide option is a mess

    The hide thing dont work. I dont see the difference between hiding and blocking. If I choose to hide people they still see me and are able to text me.

20. Cant interact with people from "for you", where is the chat button? There is only "-" button that hides them

    Cant interact with people from " for you" section. there is only "-" button that hides them. Also- after searching for location, there is no way to go back to my location or choose another location since you removed the search bar near profile pic. Have you no QA in the company? These are funny UX mistakes
