Why do we still use Grindr?
So Grindr has gotten worse day by day…
really glitchy. lots of features don’t work as expected. Like cannot see taps realtime. Then they had an outage for albums recently.
advertising. This company has gotten so greedy that they are advertising every 5mins with their 30sec to 2mins long advertising. You just have to wait
existing features now being put under subscriptions, now you cannot see taps after 4hrs Geometry Dash Lite. So basically you get a tap, then you cannot see who tapped you because it is now a subscription feature.
As a product Grindr is so bad…

Stop saying people 100+ miles away are nearby
No one wants people showing up in another state when searching for people nearby to date, duuhhh!!

Aperta e não volta ao topo a pagina principal e da comversa.
Antes , a gente clicava no app da página principal e ele ia ao topo, não faz mais e quando a gente clicava no ícone da conversa também voltava ao topo. É bem ruim não ter.
Outro detalhe, se pudessem voltar somente quem está de fato perto da gente. Hoje ao invés de mostrar isso, ele mistura junto quem está a 1km, 2km e até quem está muito distante.

Discreet icon not implemented completely
The discreet icon is one good thing that Grindr has over other gay dating apps, but it's missing some aspects. It does show the discreet icon in the app tray, home screen and the notification bar. BUT as soon as you pull down the notifications to expand the list, there it is - the original Grindr icon. It also shows up with the original icon on the lock screen. In order to avoid this, we'll have to silence or stop Grindr notifications, which totally defeats the purpose of the discreet icon. If you already have invested some effort in this,…

Add the year to the date for older conversations
I have chats that are over a year old but they show the current date. They need to add the year to the date when the year is the prior year

What if we didn’t put people on my local grid who are out of my distance preference? I’m not trying to talk to someone 60-200 miles away?
It’s so dumb to have people so far away in my local grid.

Fix Stroll to Beginning When Exiting Profile or Blocking
With Update 25.3.0 the app began scrolling to the beginning of a search when exiting, blocking a profile, etc.
It should return to where you left off.

Stop putting a random person 60miles away at the top with close ppl
The app is always putting one person that is 60 miles away at the top with people 1 mile away. I’m close to subscribing but definitely will not if I keep getting people over 60 miles away mixed in with people 1 mile away
As a software engineer,this is bad practice because I’ll refresh numerous times and see those fake profiles “bouncing around”… I’m sure others realize this too….lets hammer your database with tons of ppl refreshing over and over and over to see which in the top six are actually near us and who is 60+ miles away

Having to pay to see taps
I know you are desperate for money, but the ads are just everywhere every 2 seconds, that already makes the app impossible to use, if even after that I can’t see who tapped me, well, I don’t need a useless app to watch ads. Make taps free again, or don’t, I’m deleting the profile and moving to SCRUF anyway.

The chats should not be limited to a certain number, especially when deleting a communication retrieved older ones.

Get rid of the ‘for you’ feature
This feature is a literal cockblock paywall feature. It shallow attempt to get people to subscribe to the premium version of the app by heavily restricting the people that are in your radius and nearby. It is disappointing and condescending that they think we still believe they care for this community. But of course Grindr has just become another crummy and bordering scammy app that continually makes the experience worse and worse as the years go one

Obrigatoriedade a ter Foto.
Ser parte do cadastro para poder usar o APP, fazer o upload, pelo menos de uma foto de rosto. Agora, e está crescendo demais, a quantidade de gente sem FOTO, nem BIO, que chegam pedindo isso do outro para avaliarem e só então assumir sua posição no mundo. Depois eles, que estão escondidos no anonimato, se mostram e quem que a cara é quem se mostrou desde o começo. Isso é injusto demais. Vocês controlam tanto as coisa mínimas e isso...não.

This update sucks it got stop texts are not going properly it takes 2 min to update the chat page... What's the problem buddy.. this is really ridiculous.. nd yes a lot of bugs are coming inbetween the chats nd all.. location can't be send as actual location .. it sucks man..

Have grindr pictures save to my phone again, or have the option to do so!
Grindr used to save the photos I took in the app to my gallery and it no longer does that but I've taken some cute photos of myself and I'm sad I can't use them anywhere else without doing a bunch of photos hop:(

Unable to determine my location
When I open the app browser tab black screen other than the center circle with 3 Grindr logo below it says
No profile matches this filter.
Change filters to see people here.

Lastest Update Just Downloaded Grindr Just Keeps F#@king Up
Still to many ads
Still taking up additional space for Boost
Still taking up screen space selling Extra
Still not letting you chat with other locations w/o $$
Still being sent to buy gaming apps when clicking on chat on profile & can't get away without coming out of grindr.
This app continues to pound you with advertisements, wanting more $$, taking away & Limiting its normal basic good features that always made this my go app.

Remove the right now from hovering over my screen, it’s so annoying
Remove the right now widget from the main screen position, people including myself, accidentally press it then get bombarded by unwanted attention, it’s actually convincing me as well as some of my friends to leave Grindr if anything

How about the discover function shows us the guys we are into instead of the exact opposite
I like older, more muscular men. My discover page is all barely legal looking goods.
