1. Restrictions on profile pictures and media security

   Why should you restrict some to use nudes as their profile pics and others you allow them, I believe we are all 18+ more so we meet for sex more than dating..... And why do you allow expiring pictures to be saved in vault on some phones mostly iphones.. that's insecure

3. Back button

   Give 2 options for the “Back” button: the “<“ takes you to the previous screen, and a new “<<“ button (or the yellow skull button) takes you to the main screen. Right now, if you are in a message or if you are viewing a profile, you need to press “<“ at least twice to go back at least 2 screens and arrive at the main screen (and sometimes you even need to press it more than 2 times). Example: < to exit a message, then < to exit a profile, then the yellow skull button to exit the favorite screen so you can arrive at the main screen again.

4. My own tags not editable anymore nor even visible to me

   When tags got introduced, I added some to my profile. They're still there but I seem to be the only person not being able to see them. I don't even have the section in the Settings to change them or get rid of them.

   Having stuff on my profile that I can't change or even see is some really bad programming. It needs to be fixed badly.

5. Create some version of AOL Instant Messenger's old "Warn" feature for flakes/fake profiles

   In addition to the usual spam/bot accounts, this app has way too many users who either have fake profiles or lead people on without ever intending to actually meet (presumably most of them are just pic collectors). I would wager that all of us have experienced this multiple times. Grindr and other apps need create a feature similar to the Warn button that AIM had in the early 00s.

   Essentially, every user had a Warn meter that started at 0%. The feature was intended to alert others if a particular user was hostile, a scammer, or otherwise should be avoided. If someone hit the Warn button on your profile, the meter would go up a small amount, and then slowly decrease over time back to 0. If your meter got too high (because multiple other users Warned you), certain restrictions would kick in. First, the number and frequency of messages you could send would be limited and at a certain Warn level, your account would effectively be suspended for several days.

   Obviously this feature would need some tweaking and updating to work for Grindr in the 2020s and to prevent it being abused by users. But it would ACTUALLY do something to eliminate bad faith actors and fake profiles on this site if a reputation for repeated bad behavior became attached to their profiles. Even if grindr doesn't want to use it to issue bans, it would at least allow the rest of us to avoid the guys who come here with bad intentions .

10. Fresh Grid Could Be So Much More!

    I really LOVE the concept of being placed into the local "FRESH" grid when I update my profile image. This feature truly does makes Grindr feel more like an actual social media platform that is a refreshing unique mix between Instagram and other "Dating App"(s).

    But PLEASE only place me on the "FRESH" grid if I update my MAIN PICTURE.

    I would love to be able to add pictures to my profile without changing my grid status.
