Scam button
Most recently there have been more and more scam artists on Grindr wanting to find people who need help financially with credit card debt or college loan debt when all it is is another one of the gift card scam artists it's ridiculous I fell into one a couple of weeks ago and lost about $5,000 to this jackass who I'm now taking to court. Just wanted to point this out to other guys beware.

Avoid iconography/ labels that indicates drugs/ or sexual services
Determine a component enough capable to identify when a user are using this iconography/ labels and take action (tbd)
The main proposition is to avoid as much as possible profiles that are actually selling drugs and offering sexual services, this are easily identifiable with emojis or specific words,

Requesting a valid medical report for HIV status to have user verify being Negative or not. In order avoid people of having HIV of falsifying being negative or at least not giving them the chance to add something that's not valid

Block chats print screens and/or don't show tapped album photos' thumbnails in chats
It's no use to block print screens of album photos if the other person can tap the album photos and make their thumbnails appears in the chat, because the person can still print screen the chat window.

Mock locations prohibited
Guys please allow the use of mock locations again. If this means we have to verify through a phone number like with scruff then that's fine. I can't date for almost 3 months now via grindr cause you guys are blocking the use of mock locations. I get the whole safety stuff but this is not the way to deal with that. Please guys 💔

Have a photo verification option
Make it so people have a verified tick next to their photo so we know who are cat fishes! i know a guy on here that has cat fished over 100 guys for their nudes and then blackmails them it’s not fair!

Vaccine Lists and DoxyPEP
It would be awesome if Grindr would add a place for Hepatitis A & B vaccinations as well as HPV vaccinations. As both of these are STIs, it would t be far out from necessary for Grindr to add these to the list.
Also, adding a DoxyPEP place would be awesome too. As it is becoming more mainstream to use it to prevent bacterial STIs, it would be appropriate to have a spit in the Grindr profile to show we use it. Plus the awareness would help more people get on it.

Max age to view you
Please add a maximum and minimum age allowed to view your profile, this will prevent younger people from getting groomed by old men, and prevent general uncomfortability. This could also increase how many people actually get matches, because everyone will be in their age range.

Change of tone within the app
Discretion is something very important for some users of the app, the idea of being able to change the icon of the app is great and it would be better if the tone of the app's notification could also be changed.

DL feature to disable native alert
There should be a switch for “DL” users to disable the native notification alerts and sounds. For instance, when this switch is enabled, the sounds when sending or receiving messages should be the default sounds for your phone, not the Grindr sounds. This can allow very discreet users to have their notifications turned on without worrying about being exposed.
Or there can be radio options in the settings to choose what sounds or ringtone we want for Grindr:

Searchable distances you morons in development
Far from a new idea but I don't know any other dating applications that doesn't provide this feature I pay you GOOD HARD EARNED MONEY to never be wrong about these things so tell your management this Karen is coming for them in a bad way soon if you don't reimpliment distance searching. I get matched with people 100, 200, 300 miles from me. Do your employees at Grindr make some sort of kick back from a location service if tou allow them to find me matches 300 miles away? I bet you fucks do.

Disable Grunt
Who the hell thought it was a good idea to make the app give off a full volume sexual grunt when you open it? Without ANY warning. Do y’all realize that in certain areas of the world this could give people away and put them in danger? Not to mention the embarrassment of having your phone make sexual sounds in public. My phone keeps randomly making the grunt sound when it’s locked and I’m not touching it. I first heard it in the middle of the night and let me tell you it is freaking terrifying to be woken up…

Albums
I get that you have chosen to set albums as a premium feature but not all users can afford or want to pay for premium due to how little they use the app.
This I my suggestion: make it possible for free members to have 2 albums, but limit the maximum number of photos to 2-3 for each album or across both albums 5 maximum photos( 2 for 1st album pg only ie: face pics and 3 for 2nd x rated ie: body and private areas. Also screen shot/record protect all albums for free and premium. Then remove the limit…

Distance of users on grid.
Grindr and Lyft need to team up cause nobody has wheels out here in the Midwest. Hookups are too far between each other/aren’t safe parts of Toledo to be in at hookup-hours. That and users could then run up a grindr tab and pay it off by driving other tricks around “appointments”.

See log in locations . Secure the app.
Be able to see where you are logged in, as well as being able to log out from unauthorized devices. And don’t sync messages when switch device.
