Please get rid of the AI
I understand the desire for AI functionality. I’m not even telling you to delete it altogether. However, the feature feeds off my private information that I would like to be kept in between me and users I message. Yet it’s going to use my data to sell whatever back to me. I don’t want it and I opted out clearly. However every single time I open the app it gives me the choice to accept or decline. Probably 30 times by now. I’m tired of having to decline every time when I know if I accept, it’ll never pop up…

Bots/fakes
App is essentially useless because 90% of messages are from bots/fakes. The only remedy would be authenticating new users at set up. Till then I’m canceling my paid subscription and deleting my account.

only fans and trans prostitutes
90% of the pokes I get are either trans prostitutes or only fans content creators begging and scrounging for people to pay to look at their junk. They are poking, but not viewing my profile. I automatically report all profiles as spam that poke without viewing. Grindr must have a way to quickly isolate all profiles that poke without viewing and block their IP address permanently.

Got Banned - probably hacked - no help
I had a flurry of messages this morning, when I opened Grindr to check, I had a notice saying that I’d been banned and that this was a human decision, not an AI one. I’m not sure what has happened as it’s been several weeks since I was online. It seems either my account was hacked or the app itself has been hacked. Clicking a link asked me to sign into my account on web browser.
As if this was not disturbing enough, there doesn’t appear to be a way to report this. I’d rather like this to be resolved…

Shared Location
It would be cool where with just like an album, you can see who you’ve shared your location with in the past and revoke it from one interface. You could just click on people from a list to unsend locations that way rather than having to go into each chat and unsending one by one. Useful in case you send a home or other location that would be sensitive and you can’t recall who you sent it to.

Fake accounts…Subscribe to my onlyfans
The biggest pain point I’ve had on Grindr is the constant flood of fake and bot accounts. A lot of them use the same bait phrases like “subscribe to my OnlyFans.” These profiles are misleading, contribute nothing to genuine connection on the app, and honestly make the platform feel cheapened.
My short-term solution is to report and block/ hide them, but that still means wasted time and energy that I shouldn’t have to spend. The real issue is that Grindr doesn’t have a strong enough system in place to filter and prevent these accounts from being created in the first…

Acho que seria interessante adicionar a opção de deixar um comentário nos perfis das pessoas — por exemplo, se eu tivesse um encontro com alguém, poderia publicar um comentário ou feedback no perfil dessa pessoa. Isso ajuda as pessoas a terem encontros mais seguros.

Remove myself from peoples favorited list
I’m being stalked online Grindr through people favoriting my profile it’s rediculous that I can’t see who is favoriting my profile. The amount of access that provides is unparalleled I should be able to block people from favoriting my profile

Better safety and privacy for verified users.
Please add optional verified profile badge (photo/ID verification) so real users can show authenticity, while keeping unverified/blank profiles allowed.

Maybe fix your total lack of safety measures
It is beyond horrific that this app is infested with fake profiles and bots. Even your damn ads consist of viruses. It is so hard for a normal person to create a profile and yet scammers have no issues getting access to this app and YOU DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. The last six months have been a bot hell and when you get a report you never react to it. It just says awaiting moderation. What in the lords name do you even spend your money on? You want people to pay... but for what?

Commercial waste
Managing waste in a business can become a real headache when collections are inconsistent, pricing isn’t clear, and support is slow. Many companies don’t realize how much time and money they lose just dealing with unreliable waste services instead of focusing on their actual work. It’s often the small operational issues that create the biggest daily stress.

Do something about all the fake bot accounts!
So many fake bot accounts using the same 4 pictures. How many spam reports need to be received before something is done. Maybe some sort of verification needs to be put in place. Like getting a code texted to you or something when you make a new account. This is getting really ridiculous having half of my feed covered in bot accounts. I mean what do we pay for xtra or unlimited for if all we are seeing is more of the same bot accounts?

Remove the AI feature
Remove the AI feature as it appears to be creating fake/spam accounts and spamming users. I have been contacted by 4 accounts using AI generated images of females (clear they are AI) and this probably won't get through to support. I have screenshots of these accounts but there have been many more.

Passkeys & Spam Filters
Require Passkeys for every user. This would remove Bot accounts and people who abuse the system. Grindr does not appear to have any policy currently in place for Spam. This should be required as it’s a safety and usability problem. Each message should go through a Spam filter before it reachers the User. This would remove a lot of the worst parts of using this platform.

Quality people are not widely available and people are not yet aware of grinder
Bio approval should me manually by camera and conforming pictures. Every 1 of 6 profiles in india are fraud

GRINDR URGENTLY needs to put a way of confirming peoples identity to keep our community safe
The amount of people using the app to impersonate, hurt, assault and thieve from users in unacceptable. GRINDR needs to keep its users safe I have seen the same profile online after knowing 10 people have reported him for assault in Athens Greece and theft and they do nothing about it. there's been murders, druggings, muggings all from using the app in Australia a group of extremist people almost murdered and assaulted an 18 year old guy thinking he was meeting another 18 year old for a hook up. Both sides album unlocked
I would like to suggest a new privacy feature for albums.
Currently, some users can request and view another person’s private album without sharing their own album. This often creates an unfair experience where one person shares private photos while the other does not.
A better option would be a “mutual album sharing” feature. If User A wants to view User B’s private album, User A must first share their own private album. Both albums would unlock only when both users agree to share.
