Disable or remove the hide function
The hide function does not work properly as it hides people but does not block them. It may hide the user from the main screen, but if that person has me in their conversations or favorites list, they will still be able to contact me.

Limit the amount of profiles a person can create
I have a stalker and everyday he deletes his account and makes a new one. On some days he even makes two or three new profiles after deleting the old one. For me it feels very haunting and i need to block him again and again to feel safe on this app, which also makes that sometimes I don’t even dare to go online on the app at all until i know he cannot find me, especially now i moved to a different neighbourhood and do not want him to know that. The Membership fee is too high and the free version offers too little: Not safe or fair Privacy=Money.
It's a fact other apps have been sued for overlooking the safety of their clients. It is not reasonable that a paying member gets incognito privileges to lurk & troll all, yet a free account suffers this secret observation by those with money. Having money does not guarantee your patron isn't some psycho, it leaves the unsuspecting others at theer y if those affording the ability to cloak themselves. Contacting about STI’s
There has to be a way to anonymously contact those that have been in contact with an STI. For example, if someone has sex with 5 people from the app and then loses contact with them and then tests positive for an STI, the user can select to send an anonymous message to those contacts so they can go get tested. This would save a lot of trouble, stress and spreading of STIs.

Sort out the method spammers are using to send winks with their profiles pointing to external apps
Do something about what’s obviously a serious security flaw in the app that allows scammers to send thousands of taps

Reduce fake profiles by only allowing to use pictures taken through the app!
I know watermarks are a good attempt to kill the fakes, but we can go further to make the app safer 😉

Cyber security - 2FA/Verification/Logged in devices
The safety, security and privacy of users seems to be continually overlooked by Grindr up to 2024.
In meeting the user need for app safety and security would align with cyber security standards being adopted by many cyber vendors.

Block for Block/Hide
Very simple. Keep hide on. But allow the option for people to Block people who have blocked/hidden them. I don’t like the idea of someone I don’t like blocking/hiding me and having the ability to unblock and visit my profile at their leisure. I’d rather be able to block them too.

Discrete App Name
Discrete App Name. Similar to how Discrete App Icon is set up that would allow users to select from discrete preset names or allow users to have a customized name for the grindr app. This would allow for enhanced protection and privacy settings for a given user.

Private photos shouldn’t appear on chat when people like it
I look for privacy, when people like our photos on private album they can see the photos on the chat and they can take a print, this action lost the ideia of the private album. Please delete the action of appear our private photos in the conversation, doesn’t make sense.
