Grindr Isn’t Listening
Reading through the complaints and there are many. Some seem like quick fixes - especially in the age of AI when apps can be created much more easily. Grindr pricing is outrageous. What are we still doing here wasting our time, money and resources. Let’s pick another app and cross over to them - there are many options available- all wanting more business. Bring Back the Block Feature
They NEED to bring back the block feature. I don't care if I haven't texted a person, I should be able to block another person. This has caused a lot of safety concerns as the hide feature doesn't work and I've had people text me who I don't want to interact with because they have threatened my safety. If I were to block them from the start, I wouldn't have them approach me. I could already have the step in protecting myself. The hide feature is quite dumb and doesn't hide anyone at all. Bring back the old online-status! The new online-status marks users offline after just one minute
The new update (Version 26.2.0, Beta) marks people offline immediately (estimated max. one minute after being online). The "online"-Filter doesn't show anyone being active anymore, not everyone has the time nor motivation to use the app all the time (maybe that's what this 'new function' is supposed to be leading us to).
10 Minutes were perfect for making the grid seem alive.
I'd be fine with 5 mins too but this is too much.

PROFILE PICTURE SHOULD BE MANDATORY
Profile picture should be mandatory and without exception. There are loads of people without pictures on this app and that is a major safety issue.

Grindr must handle subscription, plan and show subscription status within grindr app and not under other apps like playstore for privacy
I find it very uncomfortable when I see my grindr subscription is showing under Active Subscription list in playstore app in my mobile. Anyone mishandling or eavesdropping on my phone can find out which I want to maintain privacy on. All grindr related plans, subscription s, subscription status should appear only within grindr and not under any other apps like playstore. Please look into this product feature update request.

Album feature
One of the annoying things lately about Albums, is the person requesting your album doesn’t send theirs. To make it fair, if Grindr albums had a feature, once both albums are sent then you can see the other person album knowing it’s a mutual share . Not just left in the dark, why he hasn’t sent his album?

Fake profiles
Get your IT department to get rid of all the fake profiles currently plaguing Grindr. I have just blocked about 7 located nearby. It doesn't matter how many times I block these fake profiles they keep reappearing. Please do something about this.

Add a Discreet name change for app
It’s cool that we can have a discreet Icon logo. But doesn’t mean anything especially if people still see the name. My suggestion is the discreet icon app name. That way if anyone’s ever on your phone or is overlooking your phone while you’re opening other apps this one won’t stick out as much. It makes it more comfortable for other discreet people. I think it’s efficient and I think a lot of people actually want something like that.

I would say it's all the SPAM female and tranny profiles that you allow to make yourselves look more inclusive and like you have more ppl
VERIFIED profiles only. People should have to upload a picture of themselves, holding a piece of paper with a random number generated by Grindr + today's date, to verify they are the person in the profile picture creating the account. That photo doesn't need to be viewed by users but should be verified through Grindr to create a profile PERIOD. You should be promoting safety. You should also be making some attempt to get rid of the fake and spam profiles that are probably just affiliates.

Please remove this app from Sri Lanka
In Sri Lanka gay community is illegal, but this app use so many people. Well as married guys, don't give this app access to Sri Lanka, because it's violated in Sri Lankan legal situation, remove this app from Sri Lanka, if it's not can get legal action

Make it easier to report
Make it easier to report a crime and you should absolutely be holding record of deleted accounts/chats for at least 24 hours server-side in case of crime. If someone sends expiring pics you cant screenshot, and deletes their account immediately after robbing you they’re untraceable? How is that safe?

Keep conversation after being blocked
When someone blocks you, the conversation immediately disappears. Bad actors have used that to say hateful or threatening things and then quickly block you before you can report them. It means that dangerous people can use your platform unchecked. That isn't okay. Change it to be like Facebook, where you cannot message someone who has contacted them but they can't just block you to avoid being reported.

Allow us to block people without having to receive a message first
Literally forcing us to receive a message first before we can block someone is the worst idea they’ve ever had!!!
