1. Can’t find men looking for trans women

   With the new gender filters, as a trans woman i don’t have the option to see men who are looking for trans women specifically. I mostly see gay men since the trans tribe has been removed. Trans attracted men can still find us via the gender filter, but we can’t find them, putting us at a disadvantage. It’s sad because grindr was the only app where trans women could find trans attracted men profiles through the trans tribe filter. Any way to change the algorithm so that trans women can see profiles of men looking for trans women?

8. "Tribes I'm Into" preference profile field and "Tribes they're into" search filter for Nearby and Explore

   Grindr desperately needs a profile field for which Tribes someone is interested in, and the option to filter your Nearby and Explore screen to people who are interested in certain Tribes. Nobody jumps on Grindr hoping they'll be ignored by someone uninterested in conversing, and those people don't hop on Grindr hoping dozens of people that they aren't interested in conversing with will reach out to them. The profile field, and the search filter will fix the frustration of many.

    Agregar un filtro donde se pueda seleccionar los perfiles con redes sociales y poder elegir que redes sociales específicamente.
    También me parece bien que se agrege un filtro inverso que envés de mostrar lo que escoges haga lo contrario.

11. Still waiting for a feature that allows you to make yourself invisible to people you aren't interested in.

    I keep getting messages from men old enough to be my dad and 10+ years younger than me. I have my search filtered to look no more than 2 years younger and no more than 6 years older. This has been asked for many, many times. There needs to be at the very least a checkbox to make yourself visible to everybody you've filtered out of your search so people don't end up wasting their time on someone they don't have a chance with. The potential for these interactions to start means potential for abuse. I've had guys who I'm 100% not interested in message me and when I don't reply, message me again later with something abusive which is why I ultimately don't reply that I'm not interested, because it'll probably result in an abusive response. It would be easiest if we just can't see eachother to start with.

    Grindr, please show you actually care about your actual member base -- the folks who made you popular. If you are going to insist on making the gay app into a tranny utopia, at least give us the filter to remove them.

    • I don't like men who want to be women and wear dresses (that's offensive to real women).
    • I only want to talk with gay men, yet you're forcing me to be rude by immediately blocking men when I see them in panties.

    Wake up, Grindr. This is very frustrating.

    By keeping the trans stuff, you're insulting those who made you popular. You're insulting actual women. You're contributing to the unethical "conversion" of gay men by suggesting they're actually women (this is no better than christian conversion, btw).

    I'm a paid member and have been for years. Recently you banned my account because of the profile words "not really into trans" (how much nicer should I put it??). You won't let me state that I'm not into trans and then you push it onto me by not letting me filter them out.

    You are literally attempting to force gay me (95% of us) to embrace trans and non-binary. This is offensive and disrespectful to everyone involved.

    A filter/option to hide your profile from anyone you're not interested in. So if you don't want to be contacted by profiles over or under certain ages, without a picture or matching criteria of your choosing, then your profile won't be visible to them and they won't be visible to you. This will save time, effort and the frustration of rejections.

    When the West has already classified humans into 85+ genders. There might be many more lingos to learn daily.

    But, the app becomes toxic to use here in India when people with less literacy in English message others asking "LIKE?", which they actually mean is what role the person plays in bed - either top/bottom/side.

    For me, like is something which I like to do as a fantasy. Say 69. But, people are spoiling the lingos.

    Grindr could do Influencer Marketing along with an influencer & spread awareness. In the past, Blued had done the same with the help of an influencer named Paras Tomar.

    See, with the reduction in toxicity on the platform, the users tend to come more on the platform.

    Or else, you can give users the option to auto-send short info like Likes & Roles. See in this AI era any free messaging app which gives just the option to send text messages & limited video chats is backward.

    Please come up with something. Blued had become famous in India around that time after Paras Tomar had a partnership with them. These influencers give very good boost.

    Finally, I just love this app. But, please avoid another set of people who look for cuckolds or people looking for others to share their wife. This is newly arising toxicity in India.

19. Users inability to read or write details

    Total lack of profiles even being filled out no pics, no tag no bio. Always recently joined and usually stalkers, spamers or some kind of malace.
    Too many phishin accounts which are soo obvious to spot I can't see how they keep coking back with same info and pics.
