No filter for Gender / Trans / fem / people looking for fem only
I'm a gay male, masc, into masc, yet more than half my grid is full-on cis gender women, fems, or people who have their name as like "fem only" "fem pounder" "DL 👀 fems" etc. Like half of my grid is either people who have no interest in me because I'm NOT FEM, or are straight women with their bits out when I'm a GAY MAN and there's NO WAY to hide these people or filter them out BESIDES manually hiding and blocking every single one. Like why can't I as a cis gender gay man filter by other cisgender…

I belong to tribe daddy. I still cant find filter based on tribes he is interested in. For eg I want to find guys interested in "daddys".

Please remove the “you maybe into profiles as 1, they are not specific to my requirements.2 they are just annoying. Either that or put in a button so I can choose if I want to see them.

Bring back the ABDL tag
Grindr should bring back the ABDL tag.
We had it once and it was around for two weeks at most, while it was around, It was great. It should be brought back for those who are part of the scene. Other platforms have this including Scruff and Recon. So why shouldn’t Grindr?

Reinstore searching age as it was. Havung to set a 5yr range reduces results. Theres now no one i want tocchat to
New age range having to be 5 years apart. Dumb. Reeuces search results to the point where i can speak to anyone im interested in

Bring back the option to choose the age without having the 5-year approximation
They should bring back the age-based search option. I don't want people who are five years younger than me; I'm looking for people my own age. This is incredibly annoying.🫠

More Kink Tags
Hi Grindr, I’ve been using the App since the earlier days. As the community evolves, so does the users interest and I’m referring to their sexual interests. Can we add more Kink Tags please?! For Example, Pet Play, Leash and Collar, ABDL, Wedgies, Objectification, Findom, FinSub, TPE, Electro, Impact Play, and More. Thank you so much!

Is Grindr now, the Trans App?
If so, rebrand so the users who have been with you from the start can find another app that is for men seeking men.You guy and being inclusive are beginning to exclude those who you say you made the app for.
Is that your intention.
We tolerate ads because we understand it's the nature of the business, but even your ads have near impossibly small close button that 4 times out of five, send you to other sites/apps rather than close.

being able to filter out women.. there are more female identifying persons on my grindr grid then male... gay females make me not horny.. ability to filter out ir block be nice .. i will block or hide and they still are there just in different spot on my grid

Bring back the search option!
Searching message history is an absolute requirement. There was no reason for it to be taken away as it didn't come with added benefits. Bring it back!!!

Letting us filter by what other people have listed as "into"
Letting us filter who we see by what other's have listed as "into" as a larger man i understand im not everybodys first choice. It would be nice to filter it so we could see people who would be interested in us instead of haveing to surch through every profile

Gender filter
Grindr used to be an app for gay men. Now, half the profiles I see are women. I'm a gay man. I have no way to filter out the women. This is a basic setting in most apps, but somehow seems to be missing on grindr. Either give us a gender filter or bring back the block button so I can block the women so I don't see them anymore.

Not enough ways to exclude certain types I’m not interested in seeing in my feed. Should be able to exclude unwanted profiles.
There should be clear options that INCLUDE my types and EXCLUDE other types to free up more matches. I hate scrolling through profiles that don’t match my preferences or interests at all. Needs to be revised with a basic INCLUDE/Exclude feature.

Resume Global Explore
The old Global Explore feature let me view people from specific regions. Now I only get a handful of random profiles. I can no longer find my preferred type of people. I don’t want just nearby users, I want global exploration too.
For example, if you planned to visit a country like Lisbon, you could see people from there under the 🌍 tab before. But that doesn’t work anymore. Please bring back the old version feature3 votes -
"save for later" option on messages and user profiles
there's many conversations and profiles I want to sort "bookmark" for later and not engage "right now".
Please add this option on the user profiles. Then on on the messages you should be able to pick the "saved for later" and show only those profiles.
If I chose a conversation (I'd like to leave unread for now) and pick save for later, it should disappear hidden out of the main inbox... perhaps unless they message you again. "hide and save for later" basically, similar to snoozing an email.
This could be easily done with implementing custom lists as well.

Add master and slave in my tribes
Add master and slave in tribes so that we can easily find this category. Good for indian market as a lot of indian slaves and masters struggle to find these tribes from grindr app.

Bring hiv filters back
I noticed that the most recent update has removed hiv positive (undetectable) from the apps filters and that really disappoints me, as someone who was recently diagnosed I've struggled with finding anyone with the same diagnosis as I do not feel comfortable sharing my status or experience with someone who isn't also positive for HIV, most apps already demonize HIV+ people or extort them with high fees just to have a small chance of speaking to one another. Improve the search and profile discovery experience.
It would be helpful to have better search and profile discovery options, making it easier for users to find relevant profiles and navigate the app.
