Paid subscribers should have the option to turn OFF the constant, annoying ads from Grindr pushing Boost. Your prices for subscriptions is extremely high and after paying that much money, we shouldn't be subjected to what accounts to spamming from Grindr.

Grindr Gets Outdated at a Very Expensive Price
Grindr lags far behind other gay dating apps in that the subscription is strictly done on grindr and not on the Play Store or IOS. Oster thing that is very overdue is having to make backups... There are gay dating apps that wherever you open the app you have all your chats without having to save a copy of Drive or iCloud. Grindr is very outdated, while other apps, such as MBB, the free version, offer more than Grindr.

Stop showing me the boost ad. I have a paid unlimited membership and I still get this fucking ad. Why?? Stop it already. If there were only a block ad feature like you have the block user feature. Hmm. Seriously STOP the boost ad you greedy fucks.

I pay already, so I expect ZERO ADS, including ads from Grindr. Boost is a really bad idea which facilities the notion that "it's ok for users to cheat/jump to the front of the queue if Grindr can make money." Obviously based on the ever increasing volume of banner and popup ads, boost is not a financially successful idea, so Grindr is doubling down on the bad idea by advertising constantly to paid users rather than abandoning the bad idea. Fix your ads
Your ads have become a joke. They pop up way too often and while in the middle of typing, when you open an expiring image and you don’t even get to view it.
The tricks that are used to make it so hard to close the ads are a joke. This app used to be good, it’s now turning into trash and I’m using other apps more now as it’s sooo annoying.2 votes -

Advertisement that pop up so frequently, though problematic, understandable, the only issue, why buttons/x’s/ close buttons are so small and difficult to close, most of the time, attempting to press the close/exit button accidentally triggers opening of the advertised app. Seems anti-customer/user friendly tactic, especially when the customer/user waited the allotted time duration, and the small close bottom triggering opening the App Store unintentionally wasting the user/customer’s time having to the close the App Store and then returning to Grindr to have to try to close the ad on Grindr as well.

No ads/less ads ads for people who don’t want to pay the astronomical and ridiculous prices for Xtra and unlimited.
As if the cost of existing isn’t enough, the cost to simply get dicked by someone outside of my neighbourhood is ridiculous. And I live in a very dodgy place. I refuse to risk being the victim of a hate crime (again) for dick. But I also refuse to pay these prices. And as a result I’m met with 4 seperate ads every single time I open the damn app and then another 3 after I send or receive a single message. Wtf?! Is Grindr inc. struggling or something? Audience specific ads
Given what Grindr is (an app for men and trans to find and meet other men and trans) I find it odd the amount of ads I’m served to meet hot women, download an all to build sexy anime girls or download a game to help an ugly girl be pretty so some straight guy acknowledges her.
It seems a little deaf to the audience and lazy on the advertiser to not push the same product with a gay marketing narrative.
I find it such a strange choice to allow these sexuality specific ads to exist in this place.
