Ads are too aggressive. Ease up a bit. These 'commercial' ads are entirely too frequent.
Ads are too long / too frequent.
I understand why they are there, but must they happen seemingly every 30 seconds????
You have to close out the app to by pass the 'commercials'. Then guys think you ghosted them, when all your doing is....watching ads.....1 vote -
Popup ads
When I'm on Grindr - and only when I'm on Grindr - I'm hijacked, taken to this website where my browser flashes all these warnings about this website being unsafe. Could you please ensure that your advertisers aren't malicious practitioners I'm also not able to make choices in ad content. Please correct this.

Targeted ads only!
Ok I get having a banner and a pop up every now and again you need to make money… great the “no nut November” campaign that was specifically targeted at gay men was great!! I went and bought the trail mix and showed the catchy ad to others who than went and bought the nuts! However the majority of gay men are men not drag, not trans, not a lesbian almost certainly not a woman so please stop with this annoying makeup app or styling app! Another gay sunshine day. Just a quick one, can you guys show more of gay-related advertisments, such as underwears, PE pills, penis pump & rings, i know it’s agains the no nudity policy. But this will drives up sales, and using grindr more fun.
I mean, last thing i want to see is advertisments with girls on it (not gender bias but it a turn off)

How to use grindr as a tool, to better our relationships with a cord of values campaign using marketing strategy.
Marketing is one of my things but I’m also a Nurse. I know the importance of promoting a healthy comunity amount us. I’m not saying to makes this. Social media, I think the app s is is really good. Is just for them to use their power to heal our relationships in our community with add camping that promotes values. The app Can have a section we’re you can have your group of friends, like people you love and like but you don’t fuck them and you still be great friends. App is great as is because it’s privacy.

Website looks like it was by made in 1986. Too many ads. Prices are too high. C’mon now. In this economy?
Too many ads make it frustrating to use. It makes me angry because I’m not here for o watch ads every 3.6 minutes.

5 CLICKS to close ads and unmuted ads
you want to ruin the experience by popping ads every 5 seconds, fine. But having to click 5 times the "x", ">>" "->" to go back to the app, especially when the buttons are 2x2 pixels big, is absolutely frustrating. at that point I forgot who I was talking to.
Also some people need to keep this app private. personally I keep my phone in vibrate mode and only open the app in discreet places. there are ads that just start playing sound even on vibrate mode WITHOUT a mute button. this is a major problem for people who want…7 votes -
Fewer Better Targeted Ads
The intersticals are WAY too frequent. The create a very negative UX. Three times I have deleted the two ads from my inbox, only to see them return next I check my messages, and not once have you served me an ad for a product I might in which I might be interested. The games are of the lowest quality and, come on, why would I buy a dog walking kit - examine my profile would tell you I don't have a dog. Both types of advertising efficacy are rapidly diminishing. You’re advertising plan sucks to go back-and-forth back-and-forth it’s a pain is the worst
Your ads are so frustrating how many times it makes your back out of it back-and-forth back-and-forth back-and-forth sometimes 10 times in a row and the apps that do that I will absolutely never buy their product promise you

Too many ads. Too expensive. Too glitchy.
Definitely not worth the price, especially since it has become overrun with women, trans, and the "straight" men who want them, with no way to filter them out. Also, too many scammers that, for some reason, Grindr can't find a way to prevent. And thank you, Grindr for banning ME for standing up to them! Too many ads and WAY too expensive to subscribe! IT'S A NO-WIN SITUATION! FIX IT!
