2. There are way too many ads and you have to go through hurdle after hurdle just to get rid of them

3. Reduce the terrible, excessive, constant, annoying, awful ad space

   I get it, nobody wants to pay the excessive monthly fees for borderline basic features but shoving ads down a users throat in every angle of the UI is not the move. Find a better strategy to generate revenue.

7. DO AWAY WITH BOOST!

   The most annoying PAIN while on/using the Grindr app is the super persistent ads and pop ups or messages promoting the Boost feature that I have NEVER used nor will I EVER choose to use. I’m subscribed as an unlimited member and part of that decision was to ensure I was not plagued by any sort of ads (I understand an OCCASIONAL message but those pop ups AND consistent adverts on the main grid every few grid columns after scrolling down a certain distance?). Please please please.. DO AWAY WITH BOOST!

   If not, then at least implement features where we can opt out of that marketing or have an algorithm in place that picks up on the amount of times that a user chooses not to BOOST when advertised to them and then block those adverts to that specific user in all its forms since that user is clearly not interested in that option. Its a win win, the user wins by not being annoyed and Grindr wins because the user is no longer annoyed/frustrated and happier!

   I get that an app needs ads to function. But while I’m typing a message? It’s insidious. And if u keep doing this? Eventually all homos will leave Grindr. I promise.

9. End the extremely long mobile game ads.

   These ads are way too long and intrusive. All they do is make me quit the app immediately to get rid of it. Ads should be no longer than 5 secs and it’s the same game ad every damn time. This has to be the most annoying thing about Grindr. I understand the free platform needs ads to support itself but this ruins the user experience and I think there are better ways to handle longer ads. Maybe start them after the splash page and ask if you would like to view one long ad to avoid a series of shorter ads during your use time. If the goal is to get us to pay so we don’t have them, you’ve lost me because I would never give money to a squeeze like this.

    You should control the advertising that appears in the application. Most of the app advertising videos that come out are fake, they show features that the application does not have. Then you go to the Play Store and read what it says about the application and it differs greatly from what is shown in the Grindr promotional video. And you read the comments and they complain about the same thing, the propaganda in the advertising video does not correspond to what the application does. Videos of applications that suggest that by placing your finger on the mobile sensor they measure your blood pressure, that they locate a mobile phone just by entering its number, that they easily measure a door or a house,... All false. Please control the advertising you place. Thank you.

12. Grindr Gets Outdated at a Very Expensive Price

    Grindr lags far behind other gay dating apps in that the subscription is strictly done on grindr and not on the Play Store or IOS. Oster thing that is very overdue is having to make backups... There are gay dating apps that wherever you open the app you have all your chats without having to save a copy of Drive or iCloud. Grindr is very outdated, while other apps, such as MBB, the free version, offer more than Grindr.

14. Option to turn OFF the constant ads pushing Boost for paid subscribers!

    Paid subscribers should have the option to turn OFF the constant, annoying ads from Grindr pushing Boost. Your prices for subscriptions is extremely high and after paying that much money, we shouldn't be subjected to what accounts to spamming from Grindr.
