People flake/ghost/no-show too easily- here’s a potential solution.
Everyone’s gone through it: some guy messages you and you’re really interested, and they seem super interested as well. Then they don’t show up, or stop responding, or block you after wasting your time. The sheer irritation of being tricked is special.
Grindr should grant a once-a-day “High interest” signal for every Grindr user. Longer profiles
Some of us are more nuanced that 250 characters allows for. I personally know in order to convey my interests and also curb what I don’t want, I need more room to talk about myself and what I’m in to. I don’t know why exactly all these sites and apps have taken to such limited profiles, but some of us aren’t afraid to talk about ourselves because we recognize the value in being up front and honest. Notify me when action has been taken against a user I blocked
I would like some kind of progress or notification that action has been taken against people who I have blocked. I receive far too many nude photos and I want to see that slow down.

Responsiveness of user
A feature on profiles which allows you to check the persons responsiveness to messages generally - as in, statistically if a person responds to messages or not. I know scruff have a feature like this and I’m not suggesting it should be identical but being able to tell if a person is fairly responsive, very responsive, or not responsive at all would help in deciding whether to even message the person in the first place.

Treat weight and size shaming as hate speech
Too many times have I had unsolicited diet advice, told to lose weight, reminded that I could have health affects or been told my body type was unattractive. People will say they aren’t into overweight people directly at or on rheir profiles. This is hate speech and should not have a place on safe dating platform.
