Grindr an app for Gay Men please.
Please either enable a filter to remove women and transgender people from the grid or just create a space for them. Can we gay men have something just for ourselves please? Is that too hard? Or we as gay men are obliged to give up our few safe spaces in order to be politically correct and be aligned with social justice?
Grindr is barely usable as it is right now with excessive ads, it’s fucking expensive and it’s also ridden with non gay men. This app is dying.

Remove profile promoting OnlyFans
Recently I have experienced a large influx of profiles and messages that are promoting Onlyfans accounts. This is making it harder to use the app for its intended purpose, finding “meaningful connections” 😆
I also think that OF people are exploiting Grindr users, sometimes promising them S E X in exchange for subscribing, which is obviously not true. Sometimes they even put this on their profile.
Over the last year, I’ve seen onlyfans accounts on Grindr becoming very popular.
The way I think that they exploiting Grindr users is that they tap u, and ur like… “ooog hot guy just…

Limpieza de bots
El contenido derivado de los usuarios usado para entrenar las ias puede llegar a generar contenido disonante para la comunidad tomando en cuenta los posibles contextos en los que se desarrolla la interacción de los usuarios.

I am getting endless taps from accounts whose only purpose is to promote their OF (OnlyFans) account. This is not pro-Grindr-community!
If the only reason you’re on Grindr is to promote your OnlyFans account, you should be banned.

Fake trans women profiles and women
Fake trans women profiles are scams that use stolen/AI photos to catfish users. They waste time, trick people into meetings, and create real safety risks on a location-based app. And Cis straight women don’t belong on Grindr. The app was made for gay/bi/queer men. They clutter the grid and frustrate the main user base.

Spam messages
Can you scan messages for url's and pause accounts sending spam links? Or block any messaging rate that looks suspicious? You must be able to detect an account hammering out messages one after another to different accounts?

Age filter
There should be an age filter available in settings. For my profile to only be visible to select age groups.
I just think it's totally unfair to 18 year olds who just want to have fun with guys their own age, but get bombarded with dick pics from older guys and fakes pretending to be younger.
Also age shouldn't be manually selectable. It should be proven age. It's ridiculous the amount of 40 year olds pretending to be 30

Could Grindr Add a Health and Wellness Resource Section for Users?
Content
Hello everyone,
I think it could be useful if Grindr had a small health and wellness resource section for users. People use the app to connect with others and build social relationships, and having access to useful health information could add another helpful resource to the platform.
One area that could be useful is information about staying active and taking care of the body. Many people experience problems such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder discomfort, sports injuries, or pain after an accident. It is not always easy to know when professional physiotherapy or another form of healthcare could…

Fixing the Bot issue
There are way too many bots and scams on this app. Every time I’m on the app now it spams me with taps from bots and scams, please find a way to fix this. I have 20+ in a row of just spam. Maybe a verification system through email or number so they don’t have easy access.

AI intervention
It would be amazing if you told the ai to block scammers constantly using the same pics or writing the same copy and pasted descriptions of themselves.
Regardless of how many times I’ve blocked people I repeatably get the same ones on my feed, they are a combination of gift card scammers, sexworkers trying to extort $, massage therapists, and people with onlyfans accounts.
If you had ai check the pics which have been previously used before for people whose profiles get reported only for them to clone a new one, then those profiles will be weeded out and we…

SPAM. So much spam
Add a non-removable feature on each profile that shows the date created or how long a profile has existed. This would tremendously help identify spam/duplicate accounts created with stolen photos. This has proven extremely effective on Facebook for weeding out spam buyer messages on Marketplace listings 🤷🏻♂️
Maybe add some level of authentication or human interaction like a captcha to be able to create or reply to a new message.

Recurring drain clogs – is it worth doing "preventive" cleaning?
I’ve had to call out a plumber twice in the last year because of backup issues in my main sewer line. Each time they just snake it, tell me it’s "probably tree roots or grease," and leave. I’m tired of the stress of wondering when the next overflow will happen. I’ve heard about "preventive" cleaning, but it sounds like one of those upsells that companies push just to get more money out of you. Does anyone here actually do regular maintenance on their pipes before they clog, or is it better to just wait until there’s a problem? Is there…

Catfish8ng / ghosting
"I am repeatedly targeted by fake dates (catfishing/ghosting) organized through multiple profiles created for the sole purpose of mocking people.
The platform shares a huge part of the responsibility for enabling this malicious behavior due to its current architecture. Specifically: anyone can register endless accounts using a single phone number; when a user blocks you, their chat history and availability vanish, allowing them to return later under a new identity; and it is practically impossible to report or block these profiles because they usually block you first. Finally, there is no option for profile verification, user feedback, or rating systems.
