1. Remove fake and spam profiles

   It's ridiculous that you can report profiles that are fake and send links to go to this site but yet nothing gets done about it. What's the use of having a reporting system for this if you don't do anything about it. This app has gone down hill so badly that it deters people from actually using it. Get it together Grindr

2. You need to figure out the bots

   I am constantly bombarded (multiple times per login) with bots trying to get me to go to a website. Now, (again—multiple times per login) fake trans girl profiles will trap me. It’s maddening. They’re using the same bad photos and changing the name each time: ashley, kelly, etc.

   Figure out your sh*t cuz your app isn’t cheap.

3. Remove Profiles Soliciting OF followers

   Your app has clearly set rules against soliciting sex for money but you clearly don't see soliciting OF fans as a rule violation. This app at one time was very useful for meeting real people. Now it's literally filled with fake people profiles and people trying to hustle $. They don't even hide it. Clearly states on the bio of the fake profiles. This ignorance of a rule violation is ruining the app all together.

4. Bots are out of control, and so are ‘women’, ‘lesbians’ etc. You need a way to verify accounts

   The bots, ‘lesbians’, ‘women’ etc. Are out of control. You need to have a way to verify that accounts are human. This can be done very simply with a quiz and photo verification. It’s ridiculous to spend this kind of money and I have to start every browsing session with blocking the 20 new ‘women’ who have popped up on my grid overnight. Nine out of 10 ‘taps’ are bots and fake account accounts. I find Sniffies to be a far superior and easier hook up option not to mention a quarter of the price

    ABDL/diaper fetishists are paedophiles and should not be welcome on this platform. I have seen them far too often and it makes my stomach churn. Please make explicit policy that this is not allowed and take our reports seriously. This is abominable and with increasing internet legislation, it is also a wise business move.

    I’d love to suggest a new inbox filter called “Unanswered.”

    The idea is simple: a button similar to “Unread,” but instead it shows conversations where you haven’t replied yet.

    Many of us open messages, read them quickly, and then get distracted — maybe by work, another app, or even an ad. Once the message is opened, it no longer appears as “unread,” and it’s easy to forget to respond. This can lead to missed connections that we genuinely would have liked to continue.

    An “Unanswered” filter would solve this problem in a clean and intuitive way:
    • It helps users quickly see conversations where they still owe a reply.
    • Even if there are many unanswered chats, sorting by newest makes it easy to spot recent messages.
    • It improves response rates and keeps conversations active.
    • It enhances user experience without changing existing behavior.

    This feature wouldn’t clutter the interface — it simply adds clarity and control. It supports better communication, reduces missed opportunities, and ultimately strengthens engagement on the platform.

    I believe this would be a small but highly impactful improvement for both users and Grindr.

13. Please prevent all of these fake female profiles that are flooding the site.

    Fake female profiles are flooding the site. Scammers, hacks or bots are using the same profile info and female photos to ruin the site with undesirable fakes. It will drive loyal gay male users away if you don’t stop it. Give us filters and easier blocks. Hiding doesn’t stop these. They just constantly flood the site. And if we have to click on these pics we are trying to hide, AI will do the opposite of finding what members’ real types are.

    Grindr is flooded with fake profiles. I see dozens per day. There's a plethora of fake trans profiles that try to lure you to Telegram. Many OF 'creators', but I suspect also fake profiles put there by grindr itself to give the impression there are more people online. Put in more safety guards to prevent bot profiles so I don't get approached repeatedly by fake accounts. I think almost everyone on this app has been approached by a fake 'Hamza from Dubai' or a trans person that wants to do everything if you just go to her Telegram. Also: I'm a gay man looking for a gay man. Why can't I filter this out? Tribes doesn't cut it. Make more fields in a profile mandatory.

    I am European, majored in Sociology, and feel strongly that “white” is a race… not an ethnicity. European should be added as an option. Bumble added European and “Jewish” as options. Both should be added to Grindr as well. Thank you.

    Someone tried to blackmail me and they got me on Instagram and threatened to post my inappropriate photos, which were when I was a minor and send them to my friends and family which are ALSO minors I can’t find their account user or anything because grinder instantly removes the account so I am unable to hold any evidence
