Actually moderate the platform
Recently I’ve started seeing bot accounts with the same username and profile pictures copy and pasted all over my feed. Blocking them doesn’t work because a carbon copy just pops up minutes later. They don’t respond to messages and have links to onlyfans profiles in their bios. I’ve even seen pairs of these accounts using the same profile photos right next to each other at the same time so it is so blatantly a scam. How this is allowed to take up space on my feed is beyond me. Not to mention the numerous other bots that message me as…

At this point my problem is that I paid for the subscription and I'm not getting as many profiles as I was promised.
If you can make this app save searches for individual people, I mean like a Google when you searching for some things it saves and then next time it give you a closest search you were looking for, that way it's going to be much easier find your type, Because it feels like it's throwing you opposing profiles, Because it's getting harder and harder to find someone with similar hobbies.

Bring back ethnicity preference
Is one not allowed in this sensitive world to be allowed to have a preference discrimination free, especially when you pay for this bug and glitch app to be able to view what you like without prejudice. Grow a back bone Grindr and bring back this feature.

Block based on aocial
Would be nice to be able to block a social media account, so that any account linked to it doesn't show up. There are constantly bots advertising the same 4 or 5 insta/twitter accounts in my area, I'd rather not have them in the grid. They create new accounts all the time so they keep showing up, but its the same socials.

Heterosexual Female and trans sex workers
I get that grindr is trying to be inclusive but this is an app for GAY MEN Not heterosexual women and trans women who are sex workers alot of trans are not here for hookups they are here for sex work which is illegal in most countries this is why I don't want to pay a premium subscription too many sex workers here especially in South Africa

Absolutely no more women. No more straight men.
I’m so very tired of seeing “no men” in an app that was once for gay men. The cost of this app should ensure a top notch experience, but we pay just to be rejected by the only attractive men in the area because we’re men. Also, verification process. If I’m paying, there should be a way to ensure all users are who they claim to be.
Bottom line, this app was for the gay community. Give it back to us. Inclusivity isn’t always necessary.5 votes -

STD tracking and notify your sexual partners
Got a little idea buzzing in my (freshly tested) head. How about a feature to quietly notify past hookups if we test positive for an STD? Like a "Hey buddy, time to get checked!" kind of thing—helpful, not panic-inducing.
Maybe we could mark profiles after meeting them (for "fun tracking" and public health, of course). Then, if we test positive, Grindr could send a discreet nudge: "Someone you've met in the last X months tested positive for XXX. Might be a good time to get checked!"
It’d be a great way to keep things safe and make Grindr even more…

Require Verification for Social Media
Too many fake accounts are catfishing by listing other people’s social media on their accounts, and there is absolutely nothing holding them back.
To list a social media account, you should have to log in through the app to verify that the account is yours.

Verify accounts either through Apple ID or Google. Which will provide at least the minimum transparency
Just have all users, verify their account through a means which provides some authenticity and transparency that the individual is actually what they have portrayed

Prevent OF member "recruiters"
Can you please do something to prevent OF accounts recruiting new members on grindr? These profiles always have simular profile texts and use the same link to X and insta.
For now I always mark them as scam.1 vote
