1. Accounts ban

   I have been a premium account holder with subscription for the unlimited option.

   I would like to inform you that you have put a ban on my account even though I have not done anything illegal or against the use policy and terms and conditions. I understand other profiles may have reported me over time however this was just as aggression and hate or attack conspiracy.

   You can check my chats. I have always maintained respect and honesty. I have chosen the unlimited function and have been paying for Grindr Xtra and Grindr Unlimited regularly over the years so that I can take advantage of meeting people all over the world.

   I have noticed that when using the "Explore" functionality, the person we may contact can see me as a treat or a fake profile because they are not aware that it is possible to get in touch cross border from one country to another. This usually results in allegations that I am using a fake GPS or location to get in touch with someone say in Bangladesh (because they are not aware that it is possible to see profiles located in a completely different country from where I am based i.e. UK).

   It should also be taken into consideration that users can easily block a profile if they do not feel comfortable with my profile or me contacting them. So I am quite surprised how Grindr allow someone or multiple users to report a profile as something dangerous or as accuse of acting against the policies and terms and conditions even though that is not the case. This is just a way to annoy and almost like sabotage for genuine people who are paying extra money (during this cost of living crisis) to just give a little bit extra chance to communicate and to explore the LGBT network around the globe. The LGBT community already face a lot of hate crime and discrimination and on top of that when Grindr chooses to ban someone's profile without any founded reasons that is just not fair.

   I understand that this message may just be another email request to look into this matter in depth with a sensible eye and fairness to ensure there is no injustice in this world where us LGBT people already face so much trouble, rejections, hatred, etc.

   I mean I just dont understand.... I have not violated any rules or terms and conditions... Just because a bunch of people dont like me or dont approve me having the premium upgraded unlimited account they decide to report me and Grindr simply stab on me by putting a ban without any reason at all? I have not said anything to upset anyone or used any inappropriate language to upset anyone or said anything that is against the conditions for use.

   I hope you will make a fair decision and lift the ban on my account as I have paid a lot of money and now I have also lost my subscription. Bear in mind that this is a conscious choice that I have made to spend regular monthly subscription to help my mental health. And this is what I get in return? Not only it makes me feel very sad and upset for all the reasons mentioned above but also pushes me to almost lose all my faith in the LGBT system and feeling safe and being treated fairly by platforms like Grindr.

3. Money boys and people selling poppers, PrEP and drugs

   Please add to the moderation people adding pics of poppers, PrEP etc. These money boys take up 4-5 of the slots on the first page of my grid. Reporting them takes a few days to remove so those profiles will be up for the entire weekend. It’s the same people over and over. After you kick them from the app, they’re back in a day or so. Surely, you can moderate pics of these prohibited goods. Make new profiles have any pics posted be reviewed and teach your screeners to recognize the pics. If you’re using AI to screen the pics, it’s easy to train them to look for he bottles of poppers and PrEP many use as theie profile pics

4. Separate women from gays and bi+

   Listen, I want women to have their safe space, I do! But allowing women on Grindr has really made the place very toxic for gays and theys and bi+ people. We are entitled to a space where we can avoid the women only kind of guys that are invading our Queer Space. This isn’t what this app used to be and this isn’t what this app should be now.

5. Trust Score

   Allow a trust score when viewing a profile based on length of account, blocks related to abuse specific topics (not lack of interest), phone number / email verification, number of positive interactions or favorites, threads muted etc... Maybe a machine learning algorithm. Should help prevent fakes, flakes, and bots interference by increasing checks on less trusted accounts

6. Paid fast track pic approval with feedback

   Pic approvals are so hit and miss. Feedback would be great. Why did it get declined. Your guidelines say if it can't go on insta it can't go here but I've had insta pics declined on grindr. Upload again and it's declined, upload again it's approved. I'd pay to know why it was declined

   Who would like to join a class action lawsuit that exposes how Grindr has created an environment where men with average and small penises are not seen as worthy for sex or even a potential preference? You can only select the preference for "hung cocks" and you cannot filter based on race - both are immutable characteristics of a person's being, one will get you banned from the site if you use it as a statute to discriminate based off of, and the other is very much tolerated on the site; body dysmorphia surrounding penis size is one of the fastest growing mental health crises in the world. With all of these progressive gays talking about inclusivity and toxic masculinity, it is time to look inwardly at our own sex culture and point out where we are morally wrong and causing severe pain in people's lives out of unrestrained pursuit of self pleasure. I have been told to kill myself for having an average sized cock, ignored by hundreds of my peers over the years of using the app, and not allowed to be represented in the subset of "preferences" because apparently, according to Grindr, the only type of penis you can designate as a preference are hung dicks. With Grindr promoting itself as the largest social connection app for gay men and with their clear tolerance / promotion of penis size discrimination, it is time that this public company faces the consequences of the mental health crisis it has caused for the vulnerable gay community.

    Long story at great length- shortened. Fuck Grindr and the “Terms of Agreements” being able to be set up by an unauthorized agent. I had just complained to Grindr last evening of the issue. Only to find another person has yet again, downloaded MY MESSAGES FROM GRINDR RESTORE iCloud backup.

    1) Even I hasn't opened app today, I get liked message (so it's clear my profile was found by robot).
    2) If I open the profile, there is Instagram link.

    So it is clear way how to avoid your spam filter.
