I agree with this. I got blackmailed by people I know because of this app. I also got wrong address because of shltty posers and left me HANGING during meetups. It promotes crime and stupidity.

There are often cases of fraud and identity theft where the perpetrators, upon realizing their intentions have been exposed, quickly block us. However, currently, after being blocked, the chat room disappears instantly, and we can't report the chat. Facing increasing fraud, they know well how to block others before being reported to avoid being traced.

Actually that feature is available on Android phones only. Meanwhile not on Apple devices. And the subscription prices are almost half on Android phones while iOS is doubled up.

I actually don't agree with this because if you have a disagreement with someone resulting in a block, if they know your identity they can use the chat to blackmail you. If you get sexually assaulted and blocked, you can probably ask Grindr for the chat log. They need to determine the reason for giving the chat log as legit.

Recently was assaulted by someone met of Grindr. After the incident I was blocked by the assailant and I no longer had the chats as evidence. If someone blocks you it shouldn't delete the chat stream. Delete media and pics maybe, but leave the chats.
