A field to add your preferred age range would actually help as a start, but blocking people out might be the better option - even... you might miss out on some amazing people - because people look really different as what you often expect what is said in their passport.

By the way: It also works the other way around.

Any "unwanted age" can be annoying if you do not communicate it.

The only way right now to add it is in the regular dating profile field.

Did you add your preferred age there? I encounter too many who write "I already have a daddy and grandfather, thank you." - nobody knows what that means. I would be helpful if people start writing more often "nobody over 25" or "between 18-25 only" if you that is your preferred age range

This is really surprising that this is still not available. A lot of complaining from people who do not fill out their age preferences in their generic text fields. It would help to save time and a lot of annoying discussions and insults, even!

Spoken like a true insecure, self-absorbed, and pretentious twink. If a message is "creepy" then simply block them. That was hard. It really is amazing what gay guys are turning into these days. I don't personally care what your age is (as long as you're legal), if I'm not interested I politely say so, and if you get salty about it you get blocked. I promise it's not hard to take less than a minute out of your extremely important life to be kind to another human being.

Texas age requirement is 17 and on the Grindr app it says 17 and up but when I select my what age I am it says I have to be 18 and up on the app

just say in your profile what kind of guy you're looking for. If someone messages you and you're not interested, don't reply. Delete the message. Simple

What Happened To Age Ranging? Restore It And Stop Us Wasting Each Others' Time.
My preferred age range has disappeared from my profile as has everyone else's. The result has been catastrophic. The number of people contacting me has dropped dramatically, and there has been a marked increase from those I am not interested in who are unintentionally wasting my time.
We are all wasting our time and each others' because of this. Please restore age ranging.

This is just as offensive as blocking people by ethnicity, height, weight etc. Anyone can be creepy at any age. If you’re not attracted say not my type and move on.

My profile has lost the facility to search within my preferred age range or to state it. By the same token it would appear others have lost the same because I am now finding that most of my responses are from people I clearly have no interest in compared to before while my screen is cluttered up with many people out of my range. This has happened about a week ago. Can this be seen to because either I'm wasted most of my contacts time or they are wasting mine.

Disagree. But I think there should be a profile field where you can describe the type of guy (or age) you're into.

This used to be a standard feature about 6 years ago. Bring it back please!!
