Separate section for trans people and their admirers
I think trans men and trans women along with people who are trans-attracted deserve to have their own separate posting section. That way, trans community members and their admirers can better easily connect with one another. It would be beneficial and make sense to give trans people and their seekers their own platform, connected to the rest of Grindr but as a section within the existing app. You could call it GrindrTrans or something.

Or at least specify in the search criteria, trans man and trans women separately. Not only as a "tribe".

This is not discriminating at all. If I'm a gay male and am into gay men, why do I want a platform that was originally designed and built specifically for me to be filled with people that I have no sexual attraction towards. It hinders MY OWN sexual exploration and expression/needs. Yet again women, straights, and others are and have invaded our own cherished place - happened to the gay bars and made shit awkward and uncomfortable for us, now here too. When will it end.
I think you'd find that most of us are staunch allies for the existence and expression of Trans people even bi people or questioning people. They're just not in our dating pool and definitely gumming-up the works. If it doesn't have a penis and isn't born as a male and staying one it's not a gay man and is IN OUR WAY on the warpath.
So, really, skip the pearl clutching, give us back our own spaces.

This is the most discriminating thing I've ever read. Trans people are just as human as straight bi or gay people. they don't need to be singled out.

I know you’ve removed the ethnicity search filter due to the current conditions in the world but members should be allowed to search for men only. Your site is littered with women or those trying to become women. Create a new site exclusively for that non male demographic so Grindr can return to a M4M site.

I fully support the trans community but I have no sexual interest in them. There really should be a separate area where they and those attracted to them can connect. I joined Grindr because I am a man who is interested in other men and lately it seems all I am doing is blocking members who present as female and those who are searching for them…I love our trans community members, but I don’t want to be intimate with them…

Yeah, this influx of trans followed by trans admirers, then straight guys saying no men, followed by even women is detrimental and disruptive towards gay men's own search for compatible matches in our own application's grid. Grindr was built by and FOR patently men who have sex with men. This invasion, similar to our gay bars, disrupts the vibe, is awkward for us, and reduces the chance of us finding eachother. I'm all for trans people existing and their admirers too but you this is not a big melting pot and never should have been. Grindr is a GAY MALE APP WRITTEN AND BUILT BY GAY MEN FOR GAY MEN. It is not for straights, not for trans, not for inclusivity, not for intersectionalism, not for academia, it's for gay sex and if it continues not to be - gay men will write a better app for themselves exclusively with as many filters as disrupts pearl clenchers as humanly possible.

The problem is the fake trans profil on thé app. A lot of trans propose to me a prostitut service. I have à lot of trans friend. Thé majority of her, dont want to be associate at gay people.

The need for inclusivity is much needed now in the LGBTQA+ community. Let’s not isolate the trans men and trans women. They are part of this community whether you like it or not. Let’s show respect and warmth to each other. It’s not that hard really,

There used to be a trans filter, but it has been removed.

Use the trans filter? What's the problem?

Can we please have a filter to filter out trans and straight guys after trans. It creates noise in the grid and they are becoming more prevalent

Statistically speaking there are very few trans or cd folk or straight(ish) guys admiring them on grindr. They're not really diluting the pool. Scammers and fakes are a far bigger problem.
Starting to split out sub-groups would just encourage discrimination and malice against them. -

if its so wrong, why are you on here as opposed to being on tinder? the mere fact that you're on grindr suggest that you're ok with separating glbtq persons from heteros. so, why not a way of filtering types of individuals that you like? im sure youre not interested in all types of people just like some are not interested in trans. nobody is saying separate them from life in general, or restrict their access. i simply want the option to separate trans people from my search criteria, just the same as if i separate people by a certain age or tops from bottoms from vs. .

This post is exactly what’s wrong with society. I love trans and see no reason why they should have there own section! Separation of people is not what the Grindr Community stands for and any one who voted on separating one group from another should be banned permanently.

I like this idea, i posted recommendation for a better filter system as well for this such thing. They could easily make a seperate grindr and just call it grindr-Trans or something and make it specifically for trans men and women. Just an easier way for everyone to find what theyre looking for without the whole piling up the main page and sifting through profiles

as a trans girl, I agree we need to improve on this! as there are few trans people it's easy for me to find *them* in trans tribe, but a way to find the straight/bi guys instead of mostly gay would be very welcome for me... cuz I just get to see the couple gay people in my neighborhood, so I end up just waiting for the straight ones to find me, feeling unable to look for people using the app myself...
