spam and fake accounts are bothersome and annoying. I left the site because of this very reason. I would like some type of security filter in place when guys create their accounts to filter out scammers.

Please implement a feature for new users to VERIFY their email address to prevent these bots and spammers from new accounts. All I get is spam from fake profiles asking me to go to a link. Its annoying, and this issue has been going on for YEARS.

You guys have failed to protect victims of cyberbullying by not investigating reports and taking the easy route of just banning accounts based on someone else’s one-sided testimony. Stop the bots NOW!! There are thousands of spambots scamming us with fake websites in their messages and profiles. Despite this, there is a 'Report User' limit imposed by Grindr that limits the amount of reports we can submit. Grindr needs to take more action to protect us all from these scam profiles!

How about everyone has to verify there account, just like tinder! This stops fake profiles! There is too many people stealing pictures or using other peoples pictures! This has also happened to me! While viewing photos and trying togo back it never fails to bring the photo back up instead of going back, have to tap multiple times and it goes zoom in zoom out on the photo instead of going back, have to hit it just right to actually go back.

I have been banned. No reason given & I feel I’ve followed all Grindr guidelines. Been waiting a week now for a response to my appeal to have ban lifted. I’ve given all details requested on the appeal form. I’ve messaged 5 times now & got nothing back. My first message says solved, with no email sent to me stating reasons. Even put a block on my phone so I can’t open another account. Very poor customer service. A lot of people currently use Grindr, like myself, to communicate with others safely during the current covid situation. Just banning people for no reason, or giving a valid reason to people, could have even more of an effect on their mental health if they are struggling Feeling alone.
