Good afternoon
My account was suspended some weeks back due to alleged breaking of Grindr policy’s.
However you refused to confirm what breaches had been made and any supporting evidence. There was no breach as it was a mere reporting of my account by other Grindr users who I failed to correspond or meet with I’m now aware.
I have now been advised by other Grindr users that you most probably had registered my device via its IMEI not to allow me to create another account.
Through various tests on my device I now believe this to be the case. Therefore this was reported to Apple some weeks ago. Apple how now asked me to confirm that my device has been banded via IMEI via correspondence with Grindr. They have advised you should be able to confirm this?
I will look forward to a speedy reply.

Good morning Grindr Customer Support
I with further to the suspension of my account and my Apple device.
A Data Subject Access request was submitted through your UK representative, Datarep as requested by Grindr customer services. Datarep have confirmed they have responded to all requests but the failure to supply the data falls within Grindr itself. Therefore please can you confirm you have received theses requests from Datarep? If so, the reason for your refusal to comply. Your refusal shows your contempt of European Data Laws.
I further wrote to you asking if you could confirm that my device to access my Grindr account had been restricted from the Grindr servers. Therefore you registered the IMEI of the device on your servers to stop any future use of this device being used to access a Grindr account and I further asked if you had registered the IMEI of my device on any other servers. My devices manufacturer Apple had asked me to confirm this so I awaited your response. Apple have stated they would not expect any of there devices to have any restrictions applied when there App Store provides both a free and a subscription Grindr service app. Yet again you have failed to respond to my previous request. Please could you explain why?
I have now written to the Authorities Consumer Market advising them of my position and your unwillingness to co-operate. I have suggested through many LGBT forums as a matter of urgency that the many other European Grindr users that have found there device has been restricted from using the Grindr service writes to them and make a compliant.
I would ask that you respond to the above points raised and look forward to a speedy reply.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI was annoyed as I was a Grindr Xytra member and they point blank refused to give me a reason for my account ban and again refused to refund my membership.
I spoke to Barclaycard and they started a charge back to Grindr and successfully refunded my money. They however will not admit they have blocked my iPhone as Apple have advised they have no legal right under Apples privacy policy to access my personal handset details. It will not allow me to create another account so that’s what I believe they have done.An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI think you will find Grindr does not read and respond to any appeals There lots of messages on other sites saying there is legal action being considered considered against Grindr for bans on accounts without a reason given when the block the IMEI of the device meaning that device can’t never be used on certain apps
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commented19 months on grindr
3 months into a 12 months xtra account and I got banned today for no reason I’ve tried to reach out but they won’t tell me why I’m banned
They won’t even refund the other 9 months membership I cannot now use. How can they take your money but then not allow you to use the service without giving a reason. That’s plain FRAUD
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedThis is the company that constantly breaks the European laws by refusing to give refunds on subscription account after banning the user but refuses to inform people why they have been banned. In most cases the users has not broken any rules but this company seems to like to inflict controversy among the LGBT crowds
Worst company everAn error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedThe staff at the end of the email are so rude unhelpful and gay unfriendly You would think they were straight guys who has been abused at childhood how they respond to people The worst app for customer service on the gay scene and there new price plans are the biggest rip off ever Not long till Grindr disappear as so many more Appa now who know how to treat there customers
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedRob needs to get a grip as I’ve responded numerous time.....this is the hopeless customer service that Grindr offers....they have no idea of how to communicate with users and are the most unhelpful
Remember if Grindr blocks you IMEi and it’s an Apple device then report to Apple ASAP
